The present invention relates to compositions (compounds) which can be used as seal material in vessel caps under sterilization conditions. More specifically, the invention relates to such compositions that are suitable for vessel caps or vacuum caps that can be unscrewed, such as cam screw caps and in particular Press-on/Twist-off caps, and that demonstrate a reduced migration of undesirable substances.

A crown-type metal cap for sealing the mouth of a preferably aluminum metal bottle, the cap being formed by a laminar part of circular plan form, including an inner face and an outer face and provided peripherally with a closure skirt and, on the inner face, with a closure gasket including a peripheral lip. The cross-section of the peripheral lip is formed by a convex arc having at least one radius of curvature, adjacent to the closure skirt, the lip also including a side opposite the closing skirt, which can be a straight side or a curved side having a radius of curvature greater than that of the convex arc.

A container for collecting a biological specimen is provided that includes a peripheral wall extending from a base. The container further includes a longitudinal tower disposed within the container. The tower forms a partition within the container to form at least a first chamber and a second chamber therein, wherein the first and second chambers are in fluid communication with one another. In addition, the container includes an insert disposed within the container opposite the base, the insert comprising at least a first opening and a second opening. The second opening provides access to the second chamber and is further configured to engage a specimen collecting device to leave a portion of the specimen collecting device within the second chamber. The first opening provides access to the first chamber and is further configured to receive a syringe therein for accessing the biological specimen. Associated systems and methods are also provided.

The end sealing cap is fixed in the umbrella-shaped member through the support post. The hollow material-feeding column's bottom surface, the support post, and the end sealing cap form a material outlet. The umbrella-shaped member lower end is in interference fit with the seal seat.
