MEAL-KIT PREPARATION AND SHIPPING SYSTEM
20180327161 · 2018-11-15 ·

A meal-kit delivery package includes a meal-kit shipping container dimensioned to accommodate any number of meal-kit bags to be shipped to a customer. The meal-kit shipping container also accommodates at least one additional meal ingredient, and any number of shipping materials. For example, the shipping materials can include a liner, a cooling component such as, ice or a cold pack, a first cushioning layer such as, bubble wrap and/or chipboard, and a second cushioning layer. The shipping container may also include a lid or other sealing device to enclose the contents within the shipping container. Each of the meal-kit bags is constructed from a semi-rigid material to accommodate placement of the meal ingredients therein while maintaining a loading configuration where a first side surface and a second side surface of the meal-kit bag maintains a generally vertical orientation.

Package integrity indicating closure

A resealable closure for a container in which package integrity is indicated by a structure which connects the closure to a remaining portion of the container which must be broken in order to gain access to the contents of the container for a first time. The package integrity feature, in one form, includes a structure associated with the closure, wherein upon opening the closure for a first time, the structure stretches, increasing a length of the structure until the structure eventually breaks, leaving one or both residual ends of the broken structure rippled or curved upward from the remainder of the container. In one alternative form, the structure is associated with a pull tab of the sealing panel, which comprises the closure, whereby either the structure must be broken first, prior to pulling back the sealing panel, or while pulling back the sealing panel for a first time, the structure breaks, prior to gaining access to the contents therein. Advantageously, the package integrity feature is integrally formed with the closure and a remaining portion of the container. Integrity of the package is indicated by visually observing an intact breakable structure.

A receiving box comprises a cover and a base. The cover comprises a first slit, a first connection part and a top surface. The first slit and the first connection part are respectively disposed at opposite sides of the top surface. The base comprises a first convex portion comprising two first bending parts and a first link part, and a second convex portion. The first convex portion is correspondingly disposed at the first slit. The second convex portion is correspondingly disposed at the first connection part. Two first bending parts are respectively located on opposite sides of the first link part. When the cover combines with the base, the second convex portion inserts into the first connection part, the first convex portion inserts into the first slit, the two first bending parts bend to contact the top surface. Thus, the cover firmly attaches to the base.

ANTIFOG POLYESTER LIDDING FILM FOR CPET TRAYS

The present disclosure is directed to peelable, heat-sealable lidding films for containers of diverse polymer compositions storing various products such as foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals. The lidding films disclosed herein can be heat-sealed to crystalline polyester trays (CPET), easily peeled, and contain improved antifogging performance by incorporating a non-migratory antifogging additive into the heat sealable layer of the film without deteriorating seal strengths.

Container of thermoplastic material

The invention relates to a container (1) of thermoplastic material with at least one support (4), which is arranged in the interior of the container, extends between opposing container walls (2) and is anchored at each end to the container walls with a positive engagement and/or a material bond, the support (4) comprising at least one supporting strut (5) and the supporting strut (5) substantially absorbing a supporting load on the container walls (2) induced by negative pressure in the container, and a tensile force that is induced by positive pressure being absorbed by at least one tension-resistant bracing element in the form of a tension-resistant band (8) which extends between the container walls (2).

A container and lid assembly is provided, including a main container defining a chamber with a base joint compound; and a container lid constructed and arranged for closing the main container, the lid having a main hinged lid door openable to provide access to the chamber; and at least one supplemental lid door hinged to the lid and openable to a supplemental compartment, the supplemental compartment being isolated from the chamber.

Method to fuse silicone and thermoplastic resin

This invention discloses a method to fuse silicone and thermoplastic resin, comprising the following steps: Step A: conducting treatment twice on thermoplastic resin lid upon molding in plasma equipment under normal temperature, and opening the inert molecular chain of thermoplastic resin; wherein the power for treating the thermoplastic resin lid ranges 500 to 800 W, the time of treatment ranges from 5 s to 60 s; Step B: applying glue on the place for laying silicone gasket on thermoplastic resin lid, baking in the oven for 15-20 min; Step C: putting the treated thermoplastic resin lid and silicone gasket in step B into the over mold for encapsulation, the time of which is 2-3 min; conducting post vulcanization for 2 h after completing the encapsulation.
