Method for filling pharmaceutical containers

In one general aspect, a method for filling multiple containers with a pharmaceutical product is disclosed, which comprises decontaminating sealed nested materials in a transfer chamber, removing from the sealed nested materials one or both of a container nest holding the multiple containers and a closure nest holding multiple closures, transferring from the transfer chamber to a controlled environment enclosure the removed nest, aseptically filling the containers with the pharmaceutical product, and closing the containers with the multiple closures. The nests are configured to allow multiple closures and containers to be simultaneously aligned concentrically, and closed simultaneously. Spring-loaded retaining structures on the closure nest allow it to releasably retain multiple closures above the corresponding multiple containers. In some embodiments the spring-loaded features are monolithically integrated with the closure nest. The product may be lyophilized in partially sealed containers while the sealing closures are releasably retained by the closure nest.

The electronic cigarette includes an electronic cigarette main body having the liquid container.

RUBBER STOPPER FOR DRUG CONTAINER, DRUG-ACCOMMODATING DRUG CONTAINER, AND DRUG CONTAINER SET

A rubber stopper includes: a main body; and a cylindrical container insertion portion extending downward from a lower surface of the main body and configured to fit into a neck portion of a drug container. The main body includes a peripheral edge portion that is disposed on a radially outer side of the container insertion portion and that is configured to abut on an upper surface of an opening portion of the drug container when attached to the drug container. The container insertion portion includes: an outer surface portion that is configured to annularly contact an inner surface of the neck portion, an upper inner surface portion that forms a columnar gap portion, and at least one inclined surface extending obliquely downward toward the outer surface portion of the container insertion portion.

Plug and bodily fluid-collecting instrument set

A plug that allows the plug body to be easily and reliably pierced through by a hollow bodily fluid collection needle, makes the bodily fluid collection needle difficult to draw back out of the plug body owing to a resilience of a sheath after the start of bodily fluid collection, and enables easy and reliable collection of the bodily fluid. The plug 1 is a plug for closing an opening end of a bodily fluid-collecting container 14 which is to be inserted into a tubular holder 11, and includes: a plug body 2 to be fixed to the opening end of the bodily fluid-collecting container 14; and a cover member 3 sheathed on the plug body 2 to cover an outer surface of the plug body 2, wherein the cover member 3 includes a side part 3c covering the outer surface of the plug body 2, and an outer surface of the side part 3c is provided with a protrusion 3k which protrudes radially outward of the side part 3c of the cover member 3 to come into contact with and give frictional resistance to an inner wall of the holder 11 upon insertion into the holder 11.

Cap for a container

A cap for a container comprising a ferrule to be fixedly attached to the neck of the container, the ferrule comprising an upper wall and a tubular skirt extending downwardly from the upper wall; a tamper evidence mechanism connected with the ferrule; an overseal button removably arranged on top of the upper wall of the ferrule so as to at least fully cover the tamper evidence mechanism, the overseal button being connected to the tamper evidence mechanism such that upon first removal of the overseal button the tamper evidence mechanism is irreversibly damaged. The overseal button comprises at least one translucent portion arranged to extend over the at least one portion of the tamper evidence mechanism which is irreversibly damaged upon first removal of the overseal button.

A container has an opening and an automatic closure. A closure flap is secured to a pivot arm, the other end of which has a weighted portion. The closure flap and pivot arm are located within the container. When the container is in a normal upright position, the weighted portion biases the closure flap into a closed position. When the container is rotated in a first direction, the weighted portion causes the pivot arm and closure flap to rotate in a second, opposite direction so that the opening is exposed.

METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR FILLING PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS

Closure with membrane and rotatable protective cap

A closure (2) for closing an opening of a container (1) for storing and removing sterile or moisture-sensitive media has a closure cap (3), which can be connected to the container in a fluid-tight manner, and a piercable, self-closing septum (20), which closes at least one removal opening (7) in the closure cap (3) in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the closure (2) has a rotatably mounted protective cap (4) with a cutout (5). The cutout (5) is arranged off-centre in the protective cap (4) and the closure cap (3) has off centre a closure region (9) which is not impinged by the at least one removal opening (7) and is larger than the cutout (5) in the protective cap (4). The closure (2) has a latching mechanism, which is suitable for arranging the protective cap (4) in relation to the closure cap (3) in such a way that the cutout (5) in the protective cap (4) is aligned either in line with the or a removal opening (7) in the closure cap (3) or at a distance from the removal opening or openings (7). The closure (2) has at least one tamper-proof means of protection.

Resealable container adapter

A container adapter includes a first chamber. The first chamber is adapted to attach to a container. The container further includes a second chamber.
