The transportation unit comprises a palette, and a plurality of bags stacked in layers on the palette, wherein each of the bags contains a plurality of coils arranged in a first layer such that centers of the coils in the first layer are arranged parallel with respect to each other such that an axial direction of the center of each coil in the first layer is approximately perpendicular to an extension direction of the palette. Further the disclosure relates to an assembly comprising a plurality of transport units.
Equipment storage and transport apparatus
An equipment storage and transport apparatus includes a bucket having an interior chamber to store and carry items of equipment, a handle terminating at opposite ends being attached at opposite upper first locations on the bucket, cup-shaped support members attached at opposite lower second locations on the bucket angularly displaced from the first locations, loop-shaped retainer members attached at opposite upper third locations on the bucket spaced above the second locations and angularly displaced from the first locations, and a seat on the bucket bottom for the user to sit on when the bucket is inverted. The handle is configured to enable a user to grip it in order to lift and carry the bucket. The support members are configured to receive and hold the ends of elongated equipment items. The retainer members are configured to position the elongated equipment items upright relative to the support members.
CARDBOARD-BOX-FREE PACKAGING OF SOLID YEAST PRODUCTS
The invention relates to packaging (10) for solid yeast products, such as: a supporting element (12); solid yeast products contained in one or more packages (22), supported by the supporting element (12); and an outer cover (14) retaining all of the solid yeast products contained in the packages (22) on the supporting element (12). According to the invention, all of the packages (22) located between the solid yeast products and the outer cover (14) may have a surface density no greater than 200 g/m.sup.2. The invention also relates to a method for packaging solid yeast products and to a method for preserving and using solid yeast products thus packaged.
Container and lid
A container and lid assembly is described for storing or transporting contents therein. Embodiments provide a protective security feature in the container and lid assembly. In at least some aspects of the invention a container body is disclosed having an opening, and a lid body is configured to cover the opening of the container body to form an assembly. An extended bumper portion is disposed at a periphery of the container body and substantially at the opening, wherein the bumper portion comprises a removable tear strip integrated into the material of the bumper portion. The tear strip is configured to prevent access to security mechanism of the assembly.
Method for preparing mattresses for shipment and stack of mattresses prepared using such method
An assembly of stacked mattresses and a method for preparing such an assembly are provided. The assembly of stacked mattresses comprises a first pallet, a second pallet, a plurality of mattresses positioned between the first pallet and the second pallet and straps coupling the first pallet to the second pallet, the plurality of mattresses being in a compressed state between the first pallet and the second pallet and the straps restraining expansion of the plurality of mattresses. The second pallet is comprised of a supporting member and a plurality of elongated reinforcing members extending across the supporting member, at least some of the reinforcing members including respective strap guiding members extending longitudinally along the elongated reinforcing member. At least some of the straps engage respective ones of the strap guiding members of the plurality of elongated reinforcing member of the second pallet so that displacement of the straps is constrained by the strap guiding members. In accordance with another aspect, a pallet for using in shipping bedding products is provided.
Pallet retrofit and wrapping system and related methods
A retrofit system optimized to enhance the securement of goods onto a pallet is provided. The system may comprise a plurality of blocks symmetrically positioned around the perimeter of the pallet, each block having a securing plate with a centered anchor. A two-piece strap, operably connected by a ratcheting mechanism, is used to secure goods on the pallet by engaging cable fasteners attached to the straps with the anchors on the blocks. The system also includes a net secured to the straps, providing additional protection and stability by distributing pressure evenly across the goods. The method of incorporating the retrofit system involves fastening the blocks to the pallet using various fastening mechanisms and aligning the blocks with the pallet's edges. The system's straps are constructed from durable, flexible materials resistant to tearing and abrasion, ensuring reliable securement under diverse transportation conditions.
Method for fastening a paper product roll entity to a pallet and a paper product roll entity wrapped by plastic foil
A method for fastening a paper product roll entity to a pallet by continuous plastic foil. The pallet has a cross direction and a longitudinal direction. A first sequence is repeated at least once. The first sequence includes wrapping the paper product roll entity such that a first continuous foil unwound from a foil head travels over the paper product roll entity and under the pallet, and moving in a cross direction a head of the foil or the pallet having the paper product roll entity on its substantially horizontal plane. After the first sequence, a second sequence is repeated at least once. The second sequence includes wrapping a second continuous foil spirally around the paper product roll entity.
