METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING MATTRESSES AND SHIPPING CONTAINER HOLDING AN ASSEMBLY OF STACKED MATTRESSES
An assembly of stacked mattresses and a method for preparing such an assembly are provided. The assembly of stacked mattresses comprises a first pallet, a second pallet, a plurality of mattresses positioned between the first pallet and the second pallet and straps coupling the first pallet to the second pallet, the plurality of mattresses being in a compressed state between the first pallet and the second pallet and the straps restraining expansion of the plurality of mattresses. The second pallet is comprised of a supporting member and a plurality of elongated reinforcing members extending across the supporting member, at least some of the reinforcing members including respective strap guiding members extending longitudinally along the elongated reinforcing member. At least some of the straps engage respective ones of the strap guiding members of the plurality of elongated reinforcing member of the second pallet so that displacement of the straps is constrained by the strap guiding members. In accordance with another aspect, a pallet for using in shipping bedding products is provided.
Adhesive Patch and Method of Use in a Packaging System
An adhesive patch and method of use thereof for forming a plurality of stackable items into a vertically stacked load are described. The method may include delivering an aligned stack of items positioned on a pallet for eventual transportation while minimizing the misalignment of the stackable items.
Array of inter-connected palletized products
A collection of articles is disclosed. Each article can be generally provided as a parallelepiped container having a bottom, sidewalls, and a top. The collection of articles comprises a supporting medium, a first slip sheet disposed upon a surface of the supporting medium, and a first plurality of the parallelepiped containers arranged in a first layer upon the first slip sheet. Each parallelepiped container of the first plurality of parallelepiped containers is disposed adjacent each other to define a first space therebetween. A first portion of the first sidewall of the first parallelepiped container disposed within the first space is bonded to a first portion of the first sidewall of the second parallelepiped container disposed within the first space when the first parallelepiped container and the second parallelepiped container are placed into contacting engagement.
Reclosable container with protection for the dispensing mouth
A reclosable container for fluid products is provided. The reclosable container has a containment body provided with a neck ending in a dispensing mouth, and a closure member having a gripping element beneath which lies a stopper tip for closing the dispensing mouth and a removable collar associated with the gripping element along a preestablished break area and rigidly attachable to the neck. In a closed configuration, the dispensing mouth is completely covered by the closure member so that it is not possible for a user's fingers to come into contact with the dispensing mouth when opening the container, avoiding contamination of calibrated drops of the fluid products.

Systems and methods for providing a thermoplastic product that includes packaging therefor
Systems and methods for providing a thermoplastic product that includes packaging therefore. Implementation of the present invention takes place in association with packaging of one or more ingredients of a thermoplastic product, wherein the packaging is used to contain the ingredients during storage and/or transportation, and wherein at least a portion of the packaging itself is an ingredient for inclusion into the thermoplastic product. In some implementations, the entire packaging is incorporated into the thermoplastic product for utilization thereof.
Advertising package
Disclosed is an advertising package that consists of two trays that are hingedly attached along a longitudinal and transverse axis. One tray includes two compartments formed from substantially rectangular shapes to allow inclusion of items that are not distinctive in shape such as a coin, key or the like. The compartments are depressions which eliminates the need for upstanding side walls and the need for a circumscribing channel or coupling passageways. Printed material can be placed on the entirety of the first tray which provides a background to the compartments and allows viewing through the package sidewalls. The package is constructed and arranged to be sent as non-machinable flat through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
INDIVIDUALLY SEALED ANTISEPTIC APPLICATORS
This disclosure describes example applicators and cap devices which may be used in combination with one or more cleansing, antimicrobial and/or antiseptic agents to reduce or eliminate contaminates on a surface. According to some embodiments, the disclosure describes a first cap which may be stored within a cavity of a second cap to create a dual cap device. According to some embodiments, both caps of the dual cap device may be individually sealed with a protective film. According to some embodiments, either a single cap device or a dual cap device may be attached to a flexible substrate by a surface other than the surface having the cavity opening.
PANEL INTERLOCKING DEVICE FOR A CARTON AND BLANK THEREFOR
A locking device for a carton includes a first part (F) defined in a first panel (12) and a second part (M) defined in a second panel (14). The first part includes a female tab (22) struck from the first panel and foldably coupled thereto. The second part includes a male tab (20) struck from the second panel and foldably coupled thereto. The male tab is hinged to the second panel by a first non-linear fold line (24) and is receivable in an aperture created by folding the female tab out of the plane of the first panel so as to secure the first and second panels together. The male tab includes at least one weakened line (28) for facilitating folding of the male tab about the first non-linear fold line (24). An edge (30) of the female tab braces against the male tab so as to maintain the male tab in a folded or locked configuration.
WINDING ASSEMBLY WITH MESH DRIVE LINKAGE
Embodiments relate to a winding assembly (16) comprising: a tensioner (37) to which a tensioning line (10) is engageable; an interface (19, 19B) configured to receive actuation force; and a drive linkage (18, 18A, 18B, 42, 42A, 42B) coupling actuation of the interface (19, 19B) to motion of the tensioner.
