The sealing device may send or trigger a message indicating the current geographic location of the sealing device based on the sealing device being removed from the container. In some examples, free ends of a strap of the sealing device may be configured to irreversibly attach to each other. In some examples, a free end of a strap of the sealing device may be configured to irreversibly attach with a one-way slot at a housing of the sealing device.

Secure storage carts are disclosed herein and capable of being assembled and disassembled on-site without common disadvantages that affect storage carts designed for on-site assembly. Secure storage carts disclosed herein may be assembled to a reduced tolerance, eliminating potential points of failure in the assembled cart, and giving the user a more solid feel to the operation. Methods for assembling storage carts are also disclosed herein and can include adjusting the extension depth of a door panel hinge. Methods disclosed herein also may include applying a preloading force to the cart frame, to reduce tolerances between components of the storage cart once assembled. Kits are also provided herein containing the components required to assemble the cart on-site, in configurations that may be easily transported to and from the job site when disassembled. Kits also may provide for straightforward and secure assembly of the carts.

AN APPARATUS FOR MONITORING OF TRANSPORT CONTAINERS

A monitoring apparatus is for an internodal transport container. A proximity sensor is mounted to a door actuator and to a door or container panel. A tamper-evident local circuit with a processor detects relative movement of the actuator and the panel. A transmitter transmits an alert radiation signal with an alert of if there is movement of the actuator indicating opening of a container door or tampering with the apparatus. The sensor has a first component for mounting to an internodal container locking bar, and a second component part of the local circuit 10 for mounting to a door panel. The first component in some examples snap fits to the bar and has a rotatable component which is retained by a retainer attached to a housing which is in turn attached to a container door. There is therefore no need to attach anything to the bar.

The electronic controller is configured to determine a geographic route from a carrier destination location to a destination location based on received carrier transfer information and received transportation information. The electronic controller is also configured to display the carrier transfer information on a user interface when the transport container is located at a carrier initial location. The electronic controller is further configured to deploy the transport container when the transport container is located at the carrier initial location.
