INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) BASED WIRELESS TRACKING, MONITORING AND ANTI-TAMPER PARCEL PACKAGING
The present disclosure relates to a parcel monitoring system, method and electronic device (e-device) for secure packaging, shipment, receipt and tracking of parcels. The tamper-proof seal (102) can include a transceiver (406) to communicate with one more devices at remote location to transmit information associated with the package, and a plurality of slots (408-1, 408-2, 408-3, 408-4) adapted to receive one or more strings (104) in each of said plurality of slots (408-1, 408-2, 408-3, 408-4). In an embodiment, the said one or more strings (104) are electrically connected to each of said plurality of slots such that an interruption in said electrical connection triggers said transceiver (406) to transmit a notification to said one more devices as an indication of seal tampering.
FLUID CONTAINER CLOSURE
A closure (1) for a fluid container includes a top deck (11), a skirt (13) extending from the top deck (11) in an axial direction (−z), wherein the skirt (13) comprises a screw thread (14), slits (17) in the skirt (13), an elongated stabilizing section (15) and retaining means on the inside of the skirt (13) for engagement of a collar (36B) of the neck finish (31) of the fluid container (3). The closure includes torque engagement means (12) arranged on the outside of the top deck (11) for interacting with a torqueing member during fitting of the closure (1).
MECHANICAL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE FOR USE IN LIVE BEVERAGES
A pressure actuated pressure relief valve is disposed in the body of a beverage vessel and is configured to be in fluidic communication with an exterior of the beverage vessel and an interior of the beverage vessel. The pressure actuated pressure relief valve being configured to actuate from a closed position to an open position based on pressure reaching a threshold within the interior of the beverage vessel. The pressure actuated pressure relief valve being configured to actuate from the open position to the closed position based on pressure falling below the threshold within the interior of the beverage vessel.
Container cap comprising tamper evidence means
A cap (100) for a container comprises a disc-shaped top section (102), an annular side section (104) projecting from said disc-shaped top section (102), and a locking flange (111) disposed at an extremity of said annular side section (104) opposite said disc-shaped top section (102), and further comprises a locking flap (116) extending from said annular side section (104), which is mobile between a locked first position wherein a portion (114) of the locking flange (111) extends inwardly from the annular side section (104), and an unlocked second position wherein the locking flange (111) is at least partially recessed relative to the annular side section (104). First tamper evidence means formed as partially frangible tab (120) and second tamper evidence means (128) are proposed. A package comprising a container and proposed cap (100) is also proposed.
Shippable data transfer device with anti-tamper casing
A shippable data transfer device includes a data storage medium encased in a chamber surrounded by an anti-tamper casing. The anti-tamper casing includes an anti-tamper layer with identifying elements arranged in a unique or otherwise identifiable pattern. The anti-tamper layer is configured to actively re-arrange, alter, or obscure the identifying elements in response to a breach of the anti-tamper casing.
TAMPER EVIDENCE BRIDGES
An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.
Dispensing containers
A seal that forms part of a container for storing and dispensing consumer products is provided. The container can be used for the packaging of pills, tablets or capsules, or as a multi-cavity container for organizing and storing mixed medication for subsequent dispensation according to a predefined dosage regimen. The seal includes a cover film and a barrier film. The cover film has pre-formed lines of separation defining a removable portion per cavity. The barrier film is secured to the cover film by a layer of peelable adhesive and has pre-formed lines of separation defining the periphery of a barrier patch per removable portion. The cover film includes a tamper-indicating line of separation close to an edge of the cover film that is designed to tear if an attempt is made to peel the cover film away from the tray to expose one or more of the cavities.
Packaging with an information encoding pattern
There is provided a package for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices (20; 120; 220; 320), wherein the package (20; 120; 220; 320) includes an information encoding pattern (10; 110). The information encoding pattern comprises at least one first area (12) having a first conductive or dielectric property and at least one second area (14; 14a, 14b, 14c) having a second conductive or dielectric property. The first conductive property is different from the second conductive property and the first dielectric property is different from the second dielectric property. The information encoding pattern is configured to be detectable by a capacitive touch screen (24), e.g. a touch screen of a mobile device (22), such as a smartphone or tablet computer, when the information encoding pattern interacts with the touch screen, i.e. when the information encoding pattern approaches and/or touches the touch screen.
Security packaging
A security packaging provides a structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging includes a first panel having an opening, and a foil label at least partially overlaying the opening and at least partially adhered to an insert member. Upon separation of the insert member from the packaging, at least a portion of the foil label is separated from the foil label thereby leaving a visual void in the opening indicating that the separation has occurred.
TAMPER DETECTION DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
It is described a tamper detection device for detecting tampering with respect to a packaging, the device comprising: i) a first electrode comprising a first patterned structure, and ii) a second electrode comprising a second patterned structure. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged so that the first patterned structure and the second patterned structure are at least partially opposite to each other. In a first arrangement state of the first patterned structure and the second patterned structure with respect to each other, a first capacitance is measurable, in a second arrangement state of the first patterned structure and the second patterned structure with respect to each other, a second capacitance is measurable, wherein the first capacitance is different from the second capacitance, and wherein the first arrangement state is different from the second arrangement state. The device further comprising: iii) a detection unit, wherein the detection unit is configured to: a) measure the capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode, b) obtain, based on the measured capacitance, an information indicative of the arrangement state, and c) evaluate, based on the information indicative of the arrangement state, if a tampering with respect to the packaging is detected.
