Pressure vessel transport system
A pressure vessel transport system can have one or more handles that allow a pressure vessel to be efficiently and safely transported. The transport system can consist of a housing surrounding a pressure vessel with the pressure vessel having a valve. The housing may continuously extend along a longitudinal axis of the pressure vessel to position the valve within the housing.
System and methodology for delivering bulk material at a work site
A technique facilitates delivery of bulk materials at a desired site, such as a wellsite. According to an embodiment, a silo is pivotably mounted to a trailer, such as an over-the-road trailer. An actuator is coupled between the silo and the trailer to enable transition of the silo between a transverse position for transport and an upright position which facilitates outflow of the bulk material. The system also may comprise various other features used alone or in combination, such as pivotable wings, a foldable trailer, and an adjustable suspension which allows a frame of the trailer to be positioned firmly on the ground.

Automated lumber retrieval and delivery
An automated lumber handling system laser-scans the top profile of multiple stacks of lumber, each of which contain boards of a unique size. Based on the scanned profiles, the system determines the order in which individual boards from a chosen stack should be transferred to a saw. The saw cuts the boards to size and in proper sequence to facilitate orderly assembly of roof trusses or prefabricated walls. Some example systems lift individual boards by driving two screws, or some other piercing tool, down into the upward facing surface of the board. A track mounted cantilever, holding the screws and a laser unit, translates over the lumber stacks to retrieve and deliver individual boards and, while doing so, the laser repeatedly scans the stacked lumber profiles on-the-fly to continuously update the profiles. The open cantilever design facilitates replenishing the stacks of lumber.

Fire hose grappling assembly
A fire hose grappling assembly for loading fire hose onto a fire truck includes a fire truck that has a hose bed. A fire hose is positionable on the hose bed for storing the fire hose. A grapple is provided and the grapple is gripped by a user for loading the fire hose onto the hose bed. The grapple is laterally extendable across the hose bed to releasably engage the fire hose. Moreover, the grapple is urgeable across the hose bed when the grapple releasably engages the fire hose thereby facilitating the user to urge the fire hose across the hose bed. In this way the user can load the fire hose onto the fire truck without requiring the user to mount the fire truck.

Method and apparatus for moving heavy objects
In some embodiments, a method and apparatus are described for moving heavy objects while providing for precise movements and alignments along any desired path, making the apparatus ideally suited for moving heavy equipment including tunnel boring equipment or structures, such as land drilling rigs. In certain embodiments, an apparatus may include at least two load bearing subassemblies. Each load bearing subassembly can include a support structure configured to support a load, a bearing mat; and a plurality of linear actuators coupled between the support structure and the bearing mat. The plurality of linear actuators may be configured to raise, shift, and lower the load relative to the bearing mat or reference base to move the load.
UNIVERSAL APPARATUS FOR CARRYING ITEMS
An apparatus that provides a durable, reusable device with handles and adjustable straps and connectors, which may be padded internally, the external layer made of water-shedding or water-proof fabric, and thus able to effectively secure for transport a wide range of large, heavy or awkward items, without requiring a pre-cut or custom fit. The invention allows for a multiplicity of configurations and sizes, providing a virtually universal protective bag, with adjustable straps and connectors, and multiple built-in handles, to safely and securely transport any type of furnishing item, including but not limited to appliances, beds, sofas, loveseats, tables, shelves, entertainment centers, cabinets, dressers, and armoires.
Suspension system for autonomous transports
An autonomous transport robot for transporting a payload, the autonomous transport robot including a drive section assembly having at least one motor and a pair of drive wheels coupled to the motor, a frame configured to support a payload, a transfer arm connected to the frame and configured for the autonomous transfer of payload to and from the frame, and a suspension system movably connecting the drive section assembly and the frame allowing relative movement between the frame and the drive section assembly.
