Filament winding device, and yarn threading method in filament winding device
A filament winding device includes a supporter configured to support a liner in a rotatable manner; a yarn supplying unit configured to support bobbins; a helical winding head configured to helical-wind a fiber bundles onto the liner; and a standard thread guiding mechanism configured to form a standard thread guide channel that guides a standard thread from the bobbins to the liner, the standard thread being different from the fiber bundles and being connected to leading ends of the fiber bundles, the standard thread guiding mechanism including nozzles configured to blow the standard thread with a compressed gas, and guide tubes configured to guide the standard thread blown by the nozzles, and the nozzles and the guide tubes being disposed along a fiber bundle guide channel, and capable of taking up the standard thread from the standard thread guide channel to the fiber bundle guide channel.
REELING DEVICE AND REELING METHOD
A reeling device includes: a left spool body; a right spool body; and a yarn transfer mechanism. A first rotation axis of the left spool body and a second rotation axis of the right spool body are parallel to each other, and a position of the left spool body around which the yarn-shaped body is to be wound and a position of the right spool body around which the yarn-shaped body is to be wound are arranged side by side on a first imaginary plane orthogonal to the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis. After a hollow yarn collection is formed in the left spool body, a yarn-shaped body leading portion of the yarn transfer mechanism moves the yarn-shaped body from the left spool body to the right spool body along the first imaginary plane.

Retracting device with hose guide for retracting a hose, vehicle provided therewith and method therefor
A retracting device, vehicle provided therewith and method for retracting a hose. The retracting device includes a frame, a retraction drive connected to the frame for retracting the hose, a coupling configured to couple the frame to a container, and a displacement drive configured to displace the frame relative to the container such that the retracted hose can be placed in the container. The retracting device further includes a hose guide configured to guide the hose for retraction to the retraction drive, and the hose guide is displaceable in operative connection to the frame.
Method and apparatus for dispensing fence wire
Method and apparatus for an assembly which is attachable to a skid-steer or similar front end loader or tractor which is used to install fence wire, including woven wire. The assembly contains a plurality of spindles upon which rolls of wire can be placed, which wire passes through a threader which organizes and separates the wire, then through a clamping device operated hydraulically using electric and hydraulic controllers, then over a roller and around an upright wire guide whereupon the wire is attached to a fence post in a conventional manner. The wire is clamped using a clamping member operated by a hydraulic cylinder to clamp and lock the wire so that the wire can be stretched by the engine powered skid-steer, front end loader or the like so that the wire can be tightly attached to each fence post in a series operation. The plurality of spindles is disposed on an upright central stanchion attached to a platform so that the wire can be easily placed on and removed from the spindle. An alternative embodiment is shown for use with woven wire.

Cable processing machine with movable guide elements and method for laying a cable in a cable processing machine
A cable processing machine includes a cable feeding device for moving a cable in a feed direction. The cable feeding device has a first guide element and a second guide element, between which elements the cable is guided at least in an operating mode of the cable processing machine. The spacing between the two guide elements is selectively variable. A method for laying a cable in the cable processing machine includes moving one or both of the guide elements relative to one another when the cable processing machine is shifted between the operating mode and a cable laying mode.
INTEGRATED FLEX-SHAFT CAMERA SYSTEM WITH HAND CONTROL
Cable handling devices, methods, and systems for securing and deploying or retracting one or more cables or hoses into or out of a pipe or cavity allowing inspection of the pipe or cavity. In an exemplary embodiment, a hand-held device with a housing for at least partially enclosing one or more cables or hoses, at least one coupling mechanism integrally attached to the housing, and a coupling control for coupling and decoupling the one or more cables or hoses is provided. The cable handling device and the one or more cables or hoses can be coupled and moved together, or decoupled enabling the cable handling device and the one or more cables or hoses to move independently of each other. One or more of the cables may be connected to a camera allowing the one or more cables or hoses to be deployed or retracted into or out of a pipe or cavity thereby facilitating inspection of the pipe or cavity.
Wire inventory indexing system
A computerized discrete wire inventory indexing system organizes and automates the intake of wiring used in a wire harness assembly work cell. Functions in a work cell may be duplicated into a second arrangement symmetrically opposite to a first arrangement so that an indexing system in accordance with the invention may operate between or alongside the adjacent work cells to execute its tasks in tandem and produce pairs of wires to be used within the two work cells. The wire indexing system operates with a tandem wire pulling machine on a movable shuttle that grabs pairs of wires from the indexing system and draws them to length. Both the shuttle and the wire indexing system may includes fixtures for stripping and terminating wires by crimping terminals onto prepared wire ends. Computer control enables rapid and correct wire production and efficient process change-overs.
