Human and non-human animal use of microbial anaplerotic oil
Disclosed are techniques and systems for producing microbials having anaplerotic oils that are rich in odd-chain fatty acids, and other beneficial components, at higher concentrations than those present in other natural dietary sources of OCFA, at lower cost, and higher production yield. Further, disclosed are examples of incorporation of these higher concentration OCFA products into food for human and non-human animal consumption.
ISOLATION AND CULTIVATION OF MUSCLE AND FAT CELLS FROM CRUSTACEANS
The present disclosure is directed to methods for the formation and production of renewable muscle and/or fat primary cell lines, immortalized cell lines, and stem cell lines from shrimp, prawn, crab, crayfish, and/or lobster species and the cell lines themselves as well as human and animal consumable meat products produced therefrom.
DRUG DELIVERY COMPOSITION
There is provided a drug delivery composition containing an acid-resistant cell that encloses a drug in the cell. In addition, there is provided an acid-resistant cell in which a drug is enclosed in the cell, where the drug is localized in the sac-shaped membrane structure included in the acid-resistant.
Method of removing tissue from food product
A method for identifying and removing tissue from a food product that includes generating a three-dimensional model of a food product using a scanner and mapping the three-dimensional model onto the food product. The method also includes scanning the food product such that cross-sectional scanning images are generated based on the model, and, for each cross-sectional scanning image, determining a maximum thickness of the model and identifying a corresponding estimated tissue point, by using an identification method based on suitable characteristics of the food product model. The method includes fitting a curve to the estimated tissue points and generating a cut path based on the fitted curve, wherein the cut path defines an area of unwanted tissue that includes the estimated tissue points. The method further includes cutting the food product along the cut path, thereby, removing the area of unwanted tissue.
METHOD FOR RAPID LOW-SALTED PICKLING OF AQUATIC PRODUCT
A method for rapid low-salted pickling of aquatic products is disclosed, which includes preliminary processing of raw materials, bacteria-reducing treatment of plasma activation gas, marinade adding and plasma treatment, cyclic bacteria-reducing treatment with the plasma activation gas and vacuum pickling. The marinade adding and plasma treatment include respectively injecting the marinade and plasma working gas into a tumbler, with a flow rate of ionic working gas injected into the tumbler of 1.5-2 L/min and a flow rate of a pickling solution of 0.5-0.8 L/min: and at the same time, starting a plasma power supply, and performing low-temperature plasma treatment on the aquatic products to be pickled, with a plasma treatment voltage of 12000-15000 V, a current of 60-80 mA, a frequency of 8-10 kHz, which is a second bacteria-reducing treatment, with plasma treatment time of 15-20 min.
