Lubricant distributor
A lubricant distributor of a lubrication system configured to lubricate one or more components of a passenger conveyor is provided including a housing having an input opening, a plurality of output openings and a shaft opening. A valve stem including a bore and a plurality of lubricant outlets is generally arranged within the shaft opening. The bore is configured to fluid couple the input opening to each of the lubricant outlets. Each lubricant outlet is associated with and configured to provide lubricant to at least one of the plurality of output openings at a distinct position of the valve stem. The lubrication system may include multiple lubricant distributors connected by a lubrication fluid circuit having a pump, motor and lubricant source.
Heating control device and method for escalator system or moving sidewalk system
A heating control apparatus and method for an escalator system or automatic walkway system, an escalator system and automatic walkway system including the heating control apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium on which a computer program for implementing the method is stored. A heating control apparatus for an escalator system or automatic walkway system includes: memory; a processor coupled with the memory; and a computer program stored on the memory and running on the processor, the running of the computer program causes: A. obtaining ambient status and device status of the escalator system or automatic walkway system, the ambient status includes ambient temperature and ambient humidity; and B. generating a control command regarding a heater of the escalator system or automatic walkway system based on the ambient status and the device status.
Regenerative power capture system for endless track escalators and moving walkways
Power is recovered from an escalator or a moving walkway as the step orbits an endless track on rollers. A generator is connected to a roller orbiting the track. A battery backup is provided. The power is used for emergency lighting on the step, and for data transmission. Advertising and messages are displayed on a dynamic video screen mounted on the step. The apparatus is mostly contained within the escalator step. Information is communicated wirelessly to a remotely located central control station and back to the step, so as to display information in real time and to update advertising while the escalator is in operation. The central control station also monitors performance parameters. The visual display can include LED lighting.

DISPLAY SYSTEM AND GATE DEVICE
A display system is provided with a display device; the display device including: a light source configured to emit light; and a light guide element configured to guide incident light from the light source; the light guide element including: an emission surface configured to output incident light; and a plurality of light focusing portions configured to change the path of the incident light toward the emission surface, causing the light output to converge toward a convergence point or convergence line outside the light guide element or to radiate from a convergence point or convergence line outside the light guide element and thereby form an image outside the light guide element. The display device presents information as an image, e.g., as a stereoscopic image.
Powered Handle Bar Apparatus for Staircase, Ramp or Level Walk Area Walking Assistance for Challenged Individuals
An indoor, electrically powered, and motorized handlebar structure that provides forward moving or stationary stability for mobility-challenged individuals includes a trolley support bar, a handle, a handle operating system, a control box, a drive assembly, an access control reader, at least one accessory, and a power source. The trolley support bar is mounted on to a solid surface area that can be a wall surface or a floor surface as the handle is operatively coupled to the trolley support bar by the drive assembly. The control box is terminally connected to the trolley support bar and house the access control reader, the at least one accessory, and the power source. The drive assembly, the access control reader, and the at least one accessory are electrically connected to the power source through the handle operating system so that handle can move between a forward direction and a backward direction.
Cleaning Pad and Cleaning Implement
The present invention relates to a cleaning pad, cleaning device, and a method for cleaning. The cleaning pad has a plurality of ridges and grooves configured to mesh with the channels and ribs of an escalator or moving walkway step. The cleaning device includes a head portion configured to attach to a handle, and a cleaning pad removably attached to the head portion.
Method of cleaning steps of an escalator
An escalator step cleaner for cleaning escalator steps having a plurality of parallel tread ridges separated by tread grooves has a cleaning pad assembly configured to extend generally perpendicular to the direction of motion of the escalator steps and clean the escalator steps while the escalator is in motion. The cleaning pad assembly has a rigid upper plate and a flexible disposable bottom pad having a cleaning contact surface. The contact surface carries a plurality of spaced parallel pad ridges separated by pad grooves that matingly engage between the tread ridges of the escalator steps and cause dislodgement of the accumulated debris. The cleaning pad assembly can be secured on a hand-held cleaning tool or on a motorized cleaning tool with rotating brushes and a vacuum.
PROTECTION DEVICE DURING INSTALLATION WORKS ON A PASSENGER TRANSPORT SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a protection device for protecting installation personnel while the installation personnel carry out installation works on a passenger transport system designed as an escalator or a moving walkway. The protection device has at least one blocking device, at least one support with a fastening region for fastening to a supporting structure of the passenger transport system, and a sensor system. Data relating to a fastening state of the fastening region can be detected with the sensor system and the data can be transmitted via a signal connecting unit to a data transmission module of the passenger transport system.
Transportation system
The invention relates to a transportation system in an environment comprising several people conveyors as well as a navigation system installed on mobile devices held by the passengers of the transportation system, which transportation system comprises at least one wireless transmission device in connection with at least one of the passenger conveyors, wherein the navigation system comprises a calibration routine for generating a reference position of the mobile device in the environment, and the calibration routine can be initiated, if the distance of the mobile device to the wireless transmission device goes below a threshold value, in which calibration routine the wireless transmission device transfers position and/or identification data to the mobile device, whereupon the navigation system on the mobile device adopts the reference position of the related passenger conveyor.
