Device and method for lifting an object from a deck of a vessel subject to movements
Described is a device for lifting an object from a deck of a vessel subject to movements in a heave direction. The device comprises a support surface for the object provided at a first height in the heave direction relative to the deck. A lifting crane is configured to take up the object from the support surface at a lifting point thereof at a lifting speed. An actuator system is configured to lower the support surface relative to the deck at the instant in time at which the object is lifted from the surface to a second height in the heave direction at a lowering speed. A method using the device is also described.
Mortar shell extraction system
The present invention relates to a mortar shell extraction system, comprising gripping means adapted for being inserted into the mortar and holding the shell by the fuse, at least one connecting shaft connected to the gripping means, driving means connected to the at least one connecting shaft and configured for transmitting a driving force to the gripping means through the at least one connecting shaft.
METHOD OF MONITORING AT LEAST ONE CRANE
The invention relates to a method of monitoring at least one crane, preferably two or more cranes, in particular revolving tower cranes, on a construction site, wherein one or more optical detection means are provided, and wherein a collision monitoring unit analyzes the recorded optical data to recognize a possible collision between at least one crane and one further crane and/or another projecting edge.
LEVELING LIFTER FOR PRECAST CONCRETE SLAB
A leveling lifter for a precast concrete slab is provided. The leveling lifter includes an engagement part embedded in a concrete slab, wherein the engagement part extends down to the base and contains a coupler component. The lifter may also include an actuator that is structured to engage the coupler within the concrete slab. The lifter also has a base configured under the engagement part. The base is configured to releasably couple to the concrete slab by projections set at a distance from one another on the base, the projections being configured to detach from the concrete slab in degrees upon engagement of the base by the actuator.
LENGTH ADJUSTABLE WIRE ROPE RIGGING DEVICE AND LIFTING SYSTEM EMPLOYING THE SAME
A wire rope device having adjustable length between a first end and a second end thereof. The wire rope device comprises a first wire rope extending from the first end and a second wire rope extending from the second end. A length adjusting structure is disposed between the first end and the second end. The length adjusting structure has the first wire rope and the second wire rope connected thereto. A support structure is disposed between the first end and the second end. The support structure has the length adjusting structure rotatable movable mounted thereto. A first guiding structure and a second guiding structure are disposed in the support structure for guiding the first wire rope and the second wire rope, respectively, such that when in operation a portion of the first wire rope extending from the first guiding element and a portion of the second wire rope extending from the second guiding element are disposed substantially along a same straight line. A drive mechanism is mounted to the support structure and connected to the length adjusting structure for adjusting the length of the wire rope device by rotatably moving the length adjusting structure.
