Foot Guard for Lift
A foot guard for a lift and a lift having a foot guard. The lift having a base having a top surface and wheels. The foot guard extends around a periphery of the base and extends from the top surface of the base of the lift to a floor. The foot guard covers the wheels of the base. The foot guard includes a top wall and a vertical side wall. An underside of the top wall engages with the top surface of the base.
Lift device with deployable operator station
A lift device includes a lift apparatus and a base assembly. The lift apparatus is configured to raise and lower an implement assembly. The base assembly is configured to support the lift apparatus. The base assembly includes a deployable operator station transitionable between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the deployed position, the deployable operator station is configured to provide a seating and control arrangement for an operator. In the stowed position, the deployable operator station is substantially sealed from an external environment to limit access to the deployable operator station.
Apparatus for providing safety netting on manlifts
A safety apparatus configured for attachment to a manlift and configured to prevent objects falling over the side of the manlift from striking objects and people beneath the manlift. One embodiment includes a frame configured to support netting that is disposed on the platform of an open-sided manlift and angled outward to intercept objects falling vertically outside the surface area of the platform. Another embodiment includes a frame that extends beyond the lip of a dosed-sided manlift and contains netting configured to catch objects falling outside of the surface area of the closed-sided manlift.
Load handling machine, mechanical shovel, bucket loader or the like, and method for controlling a load handling machine
The invention relates to a machine (1) for handling loads (24), comprising: —a frame (2) equipped with a driving station (15), —a load handling system (4) carried by the frame, a device (6) for controlling the load handling system (4), wherein this control device (6) that can be manually actuated by an operator comprises a manual part (61) configured to be manually grasped, —a control unit (5), the control unit (5) being configured to receive control signals from said control device (6), —a member (7) for activating the manually actuatable control device (6), wherein the control unit (5), in the actuated state of the activating member (7), is configured to authorize the control of the handling system (4) as a function of at least the control signals received from the control device (6), characterized in that the driving station (15) is equipped with a detection system (16) for detecting a presence or absence of the operator at said station (15), this detection system (16) comprising at least one presence sensor (17) distinct from the control device (6), and characterized in that the control unit (5), in the non-actuated state of the activating member (7) and after passing from the actuated state to the non-actuated state of the activating member (7), is configured to prevent or authorize the control at least of the handling system (4) with the control device (6) at least as a function of the absence or presence status of the operator detected by the system (16) for detecting a presence of the operator at said station (15).
LIFT DEVICE WITH USER CONTACT SENSOR
A lift device includes a chassis, a platform configured to support a user, a lift assembly coupling the platform to the chassis, an actuator configured to at least one of (a) move the platform relative to the chassis or (b) propel the chassis, a sensor assembly, and a controller. The sensor assembly includes a rod including a first end portion coupled to the platform and a second end portion opposite the first end portion, a housing defining an aperture sized to receive the second end portion of the rod, and a sensor coupled to the housing and configured to provide a signal in response to the second end portion of the rod exiting the aperture. The controller is operatively coupled to the sensor and the actuator and configured to control the actuator in response to receiving the signal from the sensor.
Method to determine a stopping distance of an industrial truck
A method to determine a stopping distance of an industrial truck comprises the steps of (i) measuring a distance traveled by the industrial truck and set points in time therebetween to determine a current vehicle speed, (ii) ascertaining at least one comparative value indicative of a relative speed change depending on at least one distance traveled during an acceleration of the industrial truck, and (iii) determining the stopping distance from the current vehicle speed and the ascertained comparative value.
INTELLIGENT VEHICLE LIFT NETWORK WITH DISTRIBUTED SENSORS
An automation system uses cameras (134) and sensors (136) to identify a set of vehicle wheels within a lift area (118), then virtualizes the position and orientation of the vehicle relative to the lift posts (122, 130). Lift arms (124, 132) extending from the lift posts are moved to a first position that places a profile camera near the predicted position of lift points, and image analysis is used to positively identify the lift points. The lift arms are then moved to a second position that places an adapter camera below the identified lift points, and image analysis is used to confirm safe positioning below the lift point. Captured images and feedback from image analysis are used to improve and refine the system's ability to identify wheels, profile view lift points, and plan view lift points. The system may be integrated with lift arms allowing for automated rotation, extension, and elevation of lift adapters.
ANTI-SQUEEZING DEVICE FOR MOBILE CONSOLE, PUSHER-TYPE ANTI-SQUEEZING DEVICE AND AERIAL WORK MACHINE
The present invention relates to a safety protection device, disclosing an anti-squeezing device for mobile console, comprising: an opening/closing mechanism pivotally mounted in the area of an operating desktop of the mobile console, capable of pivotally opening from a closed state in a direction away from the operator in response to the squeezing thrust of the operator to form a dodging space; and a position signal detection mechanism mounted to detect and transmit an opening/closing position signal of the opening/closing mechanism, so that a control unit of the mobile console may perform control operations based on the opening/closing position signal.
