Method for capping or closing containers and capping or closing machine
This invention relates to a method and to a capping or closing machine for the capping or closing of bottles or similar containers filled with an oxygen-sensitive product.
Method for capping or closing containers and capping or closing machine
This invention relates to a method and to a capping or closing machine for the capping or closing of bottles or similar containers filled with an oxygen-sensitive product.
Device for holding a container and container treatment device
A device for holding a container in a container treatment device, for example for holding a beverage container in a neck portion or in a trunk portion, includes two gripping arms which are pivotable relative to one another in a pivoting plane and which in each case have a holding portion for holding the container to be held, and a lifting rod which is coupled to the gripping arms such that the holding portions are pivotable relative to one another by a displacement of the lifting rod perpendicular to the pivoting plane of the gripping arms. A container treatment device, provided with such a device, is also described.
System and Method for Simultaneously Filling Containers with Different Fluent Compositions
A system and method for simultaneously filling containers with different fluent products are disclosed. The system includes a plurality of vehicles that are independently routable along a track system to deliver containers to at least one unit operation station for dispensing fluent materials into the containers. The containers receive one or more fluent materials that differ from another in ingredients and/or weight percentage of at least one ingredient.
System and Method for Independently Routing Vehicles and Delivering Containers and Closures to Unit Operation Systems
A system and method for independently routing vehicles and delivering containers and closures to unit operation stations are disclosed. The containers and closures can, in some cases, be transported on the same vehicle. In other cases, the containers and closures can be transported on different vehicles.
VARIABLE SPEED CRYOGEN DOSING SYSTEM
An apparatus and a method are provided for a container filling and sealing production line to produce a target final pressure of liquid contents within containers during variable production line speeds, The container filling and sealing production line comprises a bottle filler that receives containers fabricated by manufacturing equipment and fills the containers with liquid contents. A cryogen dosing system adds a volume of a cryogen to the liquid contents. A bottle sealer seals the containers and entraps the cryogen and liquid contents, such that vaporization of the cryogen imparts the target final pressure of liquid contents within the containers. A communication line enables the bottle filler to pass information to the cryogen dosing system about upcoming changes in production speed such that the cryogen dosing system accordingly adjusts the volume of the cryogen.
Device and method for the decontamination of hollow objects such as container caps using UV radiations
A device is provided for the decontamination of hollow objects with a cavity such as caps, including: (i) a first exposure apparatus including at least a UV radiation source and a reflector oriented toward the cavity of the positioned objects, able to produce a direct exposure to UV radiations of surfaces inside the cavity, (ii) a second exposure apparatus including at least a UV radiation source placed on the opposite side relative to the cavity of the positioned objects, the second exposure apparatus being able to expose surfaces inside the objects cavity to UV radiations by diffusion and/or transmission of UV radiations through the walls surrounding the objects cavity, and the first and second exposure apparatus cooperating for producing a global exposure to UV radiations of the surfaces inside the objects cavity. A method is also provided for the decontamination of hollow objects.
Sealable peelable polyester films
A polymeric film includes a polyester substrate layer and a heat-sealable polymeric layer disposed on one surface of the polyester substrate layer. In some cases, the heat-sealable polymeric layer includes a copolyester A having a glass transition temperature Tg(A) in an amount W.sub.A and a copolyester B having a glass transition temperature Tg(B) in an amount W.sub.B. In certain cases, (i) W.sub.A>W.sub.B; (ii) W.sub.A is at least 50 wt % by total weight of the heat-sealable polymeric layer; (iii) W.sub.B is at least 10 wt % by total weight of the heat-sealable polymeric layer; (iv) Tg(A)>Tg(B); (v) Tg(B) is in the range of 35 C. to 10 C.; and (vi) Tg(A) is in the range of 15 C. to 5 C.
Apparatus for blowing and filling plastic containers
The invention concerns an apparatus (10) for simultaneously blowing and filling a plastic container from a preform, the apparatus comprising: a mold (14) for enclosing a preform, so as to leave access to the mouth of the preform, stretching means (42) for stretching the preform within the mold, an injection head (16) for injecting a liquid through the mouth so as to cause expansion of the preform within the mold, thereby obtaining a blown and filled container (12) that comprises a dispensing opening (22), characterized in that the apparatus further comprises a capping head (18) for fixing a cap (40) on the dispensing opening of said blown and filled container, the capping head being permanently arranged between the injection head (16) and the mold (14).
Closure cap with a multilayer seal disk for receptacles
The invention is directed to a cap (10) for receptacles (20) such as e.g. glass jars, comprising a cap base body (11) with a fixing means (13) for enabling the cap (10) to be removably attached on the receptacles (20), a backing layer (2) made from a deformable material, and a sealable, preferably heat-sealable membrane (3) not being glued to the backing layer (2), wherein both the backing layer (2) and the membrane (3) are retained inside the cap (10) via a retention portion (18) extending from an inner side wall (14) of the cap (10). The invention is further directed to a receptacle (20) having said cap (10) for closing it, and is also directed to a method for providing the cap (10) with a sealing element (1) and for providing said cap (10) onto the receptacle (20).
