A tie-in system (47, 48) for tie-in of a transfer pipe (13, 14) to a support unit (12) is disclosed, where the transfer pipe (13, 14) is arranged at least partly in a body of water (19). The tie-in system (47, 48) comprises: a spool piece (61, 71) that in one end is adapted to be attached to the transfer pipe (13, 14) and in the other end to be connected to a pipe element (58, 68) arranged on the support unit (12), a chute device (59, 69) that is adapted to be attached to the support unit (12) and to accommodate the transfer pipe (13, 14) such that the chute device (59, 69) supports the transfer pipe (13, 14) and takes up and transfers vertical and transverse forces from the transfer pipe (13, 14) to the support unit (12), a tie-in device (77, 79) that is connected to the spool piece (61, 71) and is adapted to be connected to a tie-in member (76, 78) on the support unit (12) such that tension loads are transferred from the transfer pipe (13, 14) to the support unit (12). A system for fluid transfer is disclosed and includes a floatable buoy, an underwater hose, a plurality of underwater node units and circuitry. The underwater hose has a first end coupled to the floatable buoy and a second end. The plurality of underwater node units distributed along the length of the underwater hose and configured to generate positioning signals. The circuitry is configured to determine a relative distance between each of the plurality of undersea node units based on the generated positioning signals to generate a plurality of relative distances.

A system for fluid transfer is disclosed and includes a floatable buoy, an underwater hose, a plurality of underwater node units and circuitry. The underwater hose has a first end coupled to the floatable buoy and a second end. The plurality of underwater node units distributed along the length of the underwater hose and configured to generate positioning signals. The circuitry is configured to determine a relative distance between each of the plurality of undersea node units based on the generated positioning signals to generate a plurality of relative distances.

A device (1) for transferring a fluid from a mooring area to a ship is specified. The device (1) comprises an articulated supporting structure (2), which has at least one first and one second support (3, 4, 5), which are connected pivotably to one another by at least one pivot joint (6, 7) and which each have a longitudinal axis, wherein the first support (3) is fixed on the mooring area in such a way that the longitudinal axis of said support can be rotated substantially vertically and the first support (3) can be rotated about the longitudinal axis thereof, and wherein the second support (4, 5) is pivotable in a vertical plane. The device (1) furthermore comprises at least one guide element (8), which is fixed on the supports (3, 4, 5) or on the at least one pivot joint (6, 7), and a first flexible line (9), which is supported by means of the guide element (8) and is guided substantially in the vertical plane. The device furthermore comprises a second flexible line (10), which is arranged substantially in a horizontal plane around the first support (3) and is connected to the first flexible line (9) by means of a rigid tube section (13) connected in a fixed manner to the first support (3).
