In some embodiments, a composition comprises 0.5-10 wt. % polysaccharide and 88-99.5 wt. % water, wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition. EDIBLE COMPOSITION FOR ALLEVIATING VISUAL FATIGUE
The present invention provides an edible composition for alleviating visual fatigue. The composition comprises in parts by weight 1 to 10 parts of curcuma powder, 1 to 12 parts of whole coffee fruit extract, 1 to 20 parts of phospholipid composite, 1 to 15 parts of DHA, 0.5 to 5 parts of phosphatidylserine, and 0.1 to 5 parts of vitamin C. After one week of trial consumption by the subject, the duration of photopic vision is improved with a significant difference in comparison with that before the trial; after 2 weeks of trial consumption, the overall score of visual fatigue symptoms decreases with a significant difference in comparison with that before the trial; after 8 weeks of trial consumption by the subject, the vision field thereof is remarkably enlarged, indicating the formulation may prevent the occurrence of glaucoma. The coffee extract combined with the remaining ingredients has a synergistic effect.

The breast milk-derived Lactobacillus plantarum, which was screened from healthy breast milk, is classified and named as Lactobacillus plantarum and has an accession number of CGMCC NO.19748. It has strong adhesion, has an inhibitory effect on 8 commonly known pathogenic bacteria, and is susceptible to 8 antibiotics, and also has strong acid resistance and bile salt resistance.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF CEREAL USING A SILK FIBROIN SOLUTION AND POWDERS CONTAINING SILK FIBROIN
The disclosure relates to products and methods for improving the performance of cereal manufactured with silk solutions and powders containing silk fibroin obtained from silk inputs. The coatings, or otherwise incorporated silk fibroin, can be used to improve the shelf life of cereals, reduce the glycemic index of cereals, and to improve the performance of those cereals in areas valued by consumers.
FROZEN FOOD
A frozen food is provided that requires neither addition of water nor large cookware such as a pot, an electromagnetic cooker and a gas stove; is easy to eat; can be stored for a long period; does not cause loosening and uneven heating of the noodle; and makes it possible to enjoy an aromatic and authentic taste in a simple manner only by heating in a microwave oven. It was found that a plurality of chunks of frozen soup having a specific size are placed at a higher position with respect to a frozen noodle, so that a frozen food that makes it possible to enjoy an authentic taste as a hot noodle simply by microwave cooking can be provided, and these findings have led to the present invention.
DIETARY FIBER COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure relates to compositions comprising dietary fibers. For example, in some embodiments, the composition comprises two or more fibers (e.g., fibers such as beta-glucan, wheat dextrin, inulin, pectin, psyllium, or potato starch) each present in amount of about 40% to about 60% w/w of the composition. In some embodiments, the composition further includes a sweetener and/or a flavoring agent. Such compositions are useful in the treatment or improvement of gastrointestinal diseases.
