FILTER ASSEMBLY
A filter assembly comprises an outer casing, filters and a pipe member connected to first, second and third filters and comprising an inlet flow path and an outlet flow path. The inlet flow path comprises a first inlet flow path connected to the first filter, a second inlet flow path connected to the second filter, a third inlet flow path connected to the third filter, and an inflow member comprising a branch point to allow water to flow in parallel through the first inlet flow path and the second inlet flow path. The outlet flow path comprises a first outlet flow path for water to be discharged from the first filter, and a second outlet flow path for water to be discharged from the second filter. Water discharged from the first outlet flow path from the second outlet flow path is guided and introduced into the third inlet flow path.
WATER PURIFICATION HOUSING AND RAINWATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM USING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a water purification housing capable of purifying water and a rainwater purification system using the same. The water purification housing according to the present invention comprises a means that can filter treated water by filling filter media in a housing body and then passing the treated water through the filter media and a mean that can remove residue caught in the filter media as a result of the use of the filter media by collecting the residue in a sediment discharge container positioned at a bottom portion of the housing body. The rainwater purification system according to the present invention comprises a means that connects and installs several water purification housings and an additional filtration means including fiber filter and UV lamp which can filter materials that cannot be filtered only by the filter media at the end thereof.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND PROCESSES EMPLOYING WET/DRY SUCTION FILTER WITH CHICANED SUCTION HEAD
Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning apparatus adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each cleaning apparatus when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning apparatus subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone. The non-submerged filter media from which wet solids have been removed is further cleansed of collected solids and entrapped water employing air drawn from inside of the one or more drum filters by the blower.
VESSELS SUCH AS SWIMMING POOLS OR SPAS OMITTING DEDICATED PLUMBED WATER-CIRCULATION SYSTEMS
An automatic swimming pool cleaner (APC) may be used as a primary or sole water-circulation system of a pool or spa. The pool or spa hence need not employ dedicated water-circulation equipment, unlike conventional such vessels. In some cases, the APC includes a water treatment system for dispensing one or more chemicals for sanitizing (or otherwise treating) pool water.
PORTABLE POTABLE WATER FILTRATION
A disinfection system for treating water. In a specific example, the system treats water prior to its upload to an aircraft or other passenger transportation vehicle. One or more replaceable filters are positioned within a filter chamber housing in order to expose water flowing through the system to filtration treatment.
FLUID COLLECTION SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a fluid collection system, method, and use. The system included herein provides a liner at least partially disposed around a cavity and a geocellular module configured to provide structural support to the cavity and to receive fluid therein. The system further comprises a filter at least partially disposed around the geocellular module and a cover at least partially disposed above the geocellular module to provide structural support to the cavity.
Bottlecap with UV LED and a removable filter cartridge for water purification
A water sanitization cap for covering a bottle is provided. The cap may include an ultraviolet-C (“UV-C”) light emitting diode (“LED”) housing and a shell. The shell may be adjacent to a portion of the housing. The cap may also include a waterproof compartment formed within the interior of the housing. The waterproof compartment may include one wall formed at least in part from a transparent material. The cap may include a UV-C LED. The UV-C LED may be fixed within the waterproof compartment, proximal to one end of the UV-C LED housing and oriented to shine light through the transparent material. The cap may include a sensor that when activated, applies a voltage to the UV-C LED to cause the UV-C LED to emit light. The cap may include a cartridge cage that can hold a cartridge. The cartridge cage may be removably attachable to an inner surface of the shell. The waterproof compartment wall may be positioned relative to the cartridge cage such that the UV-C LED, in use, treats water within the bottle before the water flows through the cartridge cage.
Methods and systems for supplying water to an aircraft
There are described methods and systems for supplying water to an aircraft. A water supply assembly is fluidly coupled to a water storage tank via a supply line. An overflow line is fluidly coupled to the water supply assembly. One or more sensors are configured to determine an amount of water in the water storage tank. One or more processors are communicative with the one or more sensors and configured to: determine a desired amount of water to be contained in the water storage tank; determine from the one or more sensors that an amount of water in the water storage tank corresponds to the desired amount of water; and, in response to determining that the amount of water in the water storage tank corresponds to the desired amount of water, transmit an instruction for causing water being supplied from the water supply assembly to the water storage tank to be diverted to the overflow line.
UV lamp
The present invention relates to a UV lamp having an axial dimension normal to a cross-section having a cross-sectional area with a ratio of the axial dimension to the cross-sectional area in the range of 0.1 cm/cm.sup.2 to 1000 cm/cm.sup.2. The UV lamp includes a first axial conductor separated from a second axial conductor by an electrically insulating material and a light emitting diode (LED) capable of providing light at a wavelength in the range of 100 nm to 400 nm, which LED is mounted to emit light from an outer surface. The invention also relates to a method of sterilising a surface using the UV lamp.
