A VEGETAL CONCRETE MASONRY UNIT AND METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A vegetal concrete masonry unit is provided which comprises cooked crop residues, binder and pulverized fuel ash in a mass ratio of 1:1:1.5 to 1:1.5:3.
SYNTHETIC ALUMINOSILICATE MATERIAL AND METHODS OF FORMING AND USING SAME
Methods of forming synthetic aluminosilicate material are disclosed. Exemplary methods include forming a polymer solution, adding an aluminum precursor to the polymer solution, adding a silicon precursor to the polymer solution, forming a gel from the polymer solution, calcining the gel to form an aluminosilicate powder, and grinding the aluminosilicate powder to form ground aluminosilicate material. The synthetic aluminosilicate material can be used in the formation of cement and concrete.
CO2 SOLIDIFIED FIBER CEMENT BOARD AND ITS PREPARATION METHOD
Disclosed is a CO.sub.2 solidified fiber cement board and its preparation method. The matrix composition of the fiber cement board prepared in this disclosure is calcium carbonate, which has high compactness, and the crystal form of calcium carbonate is adjusted by adding shell powder to improve the toughness of the matrix, so that the fiber cement board has excellent mechanics and durability performance. In addition, the preparation process does not require high temperature maintenance, and has the characteristics of normal temperature preparation, which creates conditions for the introduction of organic synthetic fibers, so that the organic synthetic fibers can further improve the brittleness of cement fiberboard. While reducing energy consumption, the preparation process can also effectively solve the problem that excessive pressure is easily generated in the fiberboard under high temperature conditions in the existing high-temperature and high-pressure curing process.
ACID-RESISTANT INORGANIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF FORMING SAME
Acid-resistant composite materials and methods of forming acid resistant composite materials are disclosed. The acid resistant composite materials can include one or more monovalent, divalent, or polyvalent cationic metals. The acid resistant composite materials can be used, for example, in the formation of concreate or as a coating for concrete.
Cement chemistries
A method of curing a low Ca/Mg cement composition is described that includes providing a predetermined quantity of the low Ca/Mg cement composition in uncured form; and reacting the uncured low Ca/Mg cement composition with a reagent chemical for a time sufficient to cure said cementitious material, wherein said reagent chemical is a compound synthesized from CO.sub.2 and comprises dicarboxylic acids, tricarboxylic acids, or alpha-hydroxycarboxylic acids.
Methods for the manufacture of colorfast masonry
The invention is directed to compositions and methods for the manufacture of pigmented solids structures for which can be used for construction and/or decoration. Manufacturing comprises fixing one or more pigments to an aggregate material such as crushed rock, stone or sand. The pigmented aggregate is incubated with urease or urease producing microorganisms, an amount of a nitrogen source such as urea, and an amount of calcium source such as calcium chloride forming calcite bridges between particles of aggregate. The resulting solid has a hardness and colorfastness for most any construction material. Using selected aggregate and pigment, the process also provides for the manufacture of simulated-stone materials such as clay or granite bricks or blocks, marble counter-tops, and more. The invention is also directed to composition containing microorganisms and pigment as kits that can be added to most any aggregate materials.

Biocementation Method and System
The invention is directed to kits, compositions, tools and methods comprising a cyclic industrial process to form biocement. In particular, the invention is directed to materials and methods for decomposing calcium carbonate into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide at an elevated temperature, reacting calcium oxide with ammonium chloride to form calcium chloride, water, and ammonia gas; and reacting ammonia gas and carbon dioxide at high pressure to form urea and water, which are then utilized to form biocement. This cyclic process can be achieved by combining industrial processes with the resulting product as biocement. The process may involve retention of calcium carbonate currently utilized in the manufacture of Portland Cement.
