A configurable herb grinder that is operable to provide grinding of a desired herb wherein the configurable herb grinder of the present invention includes a first configuration and a second configuration. The configurable herb grinder of the present invention includes a first grinding member module and a second grinding member module that are rotatably coupled and arranged in a vertically stacked orientation. The herb grinder further includes a container member module and a bottom member module that are beneath the first grinding member module and the second grinding member module in a vertically stacked orientation. The first grinding member module and the second grinding member module comprise the upper portion of the herb grinder and the container member module and the bottom member module comprise the lower portion. The herb grinder is configured to interchange the upper portion and lower portion utilizing latches and latch receptacles.

A portable manual grinder has a driving section, a grinding section and a discharging section coaxially connected from top to bottom. A grinding machine for grinding herbs is provided, and can include a vertical-oriented vessel with a substantially horizontal separating screen disposed in the vessel, creating a grinding chamber above and a collecting chamber below. Rotating blades in the grinding chamber rotate above the screen where dried herbs placed in the grinding chamber are ground into smaller pieces by the rotating blade that can descend through openings disposed through the screen to accumulate in the collecting chamber. A lid enclosing the vessel can further include a feed chute for feeding dried herbs into the machine while it is operating.

Plant material is shredded to a size range applicable to loading into a smokable device, measured proportions of plant materials are combined to produce a mixed batch with a projected desirable active cannabis compound profile. Material is then processed, analyzed, loaded into smokable delivery device, labeled and distributed.
