Heat Reactive Composition and Applicator Apparatus and Method
A heat reactive composition and applicator apparatus and method are set forth. The heat reactive composition is applicable to the surface of an existing substrate to permanently scorch the existing substrate at places where contact with the composition of matter is effected. The exothermic reaction of the composition of matter constrains the reaction to portions of the substrate that are in immediate contact with the composition only. Intricate patterns and designs are thereby permanently transferrable onto or into the surface of the existing substrate by action of heat with a controlled and deliberate intent.

Method of preparing and applying a slurry mixture to a bridge wire initiator
Embodiments of the present invention include a method for preparing and applying a slurry mixture to a bridge wire initiator which involves a slurry mixture that is relatively safer for a user to handle and in which the method is relatively less complex and shorter in duration for a user to prepare and apply the slurry mixture to the bridge wire initiator.

Rocket motor propellants, systems and/or methods
A rocket motor propellant including a low molecular weight hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) polymer and, a high molecular weight isocyanate. In some implementations, a rocket motor propellant hereof is plasticizer free.

Metal hydride nanoparticles
A nanoparticle of a decomposition product of a transition metal aluminum hydride compound, a transition metal borohydride compound, or a transition metal gallium hydride compound. A process of: reacting a transition metal salt with an aluminum hydride compound, a borohydride compound, or a gallium hydride compound to produce one or more of the nanoparticles. The reaction occurs in solution while being sonicated at a temperature at which the metal hydride compound decomposes. A process of: reacting a nanoparticle with a compound containing at least two hydroxyl groups to form a coating having multi-dentate metal-alkoxides.
