Aerosol-generating article and method for manufacturing such aerosol-generating article; aerosol-generating device and system
An aerosol-generating article (10) has a longitudinal extension and comprises aerosol-generating substrate (20, 21) extending along the longitudinal extension and susceptor material (30, 31) extending along the longitudinal extension. The aerosol-forming substrate (20, 21) and the susceptor material (30, 31) form an extrudate having a same cross-sectional shape along a length of the extrudate. Also disclosed is an aerosol-generating device, which comprises a device housing (70) comprising a support element (8) extending from a proximal end of the device housing (70). The support element (8) is adapted for receiving an aerosol-generating article (10, 12) comprising aerosol-forming substrate (20, 21) and susceptor material (30, 31). A mouthpiece (71) of the device comprises a cavity to accommodate the support element (8) including aerosol-generating article (10, 12) mounted on the support element (8). An inductor (703) may be inductively coupled to the susceptor material (30, 31) of the aerosol-generating article (10, 12) during use.
Aerosol-generating article having detachable freshener segment
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including a combustible heat source; an aerosol-generating substrate adjacent the heat source; a freshener segment upstream of the heat source and at least partially covering an upstream end of the heat source, the freshener segment including a segment of support material having an annular shape defining a channel extending through at least a part of the segment between upstream and downstream ends thereof, and at least one freshener delivery element contained within the channel and being detachable from the heat source to expose the heat source prior to use of the article; and a wrapper circumscribing at least the freshener segment and the heat source, including a line of weakness extending around the wrapper and overlying an upstream edge of the heat source so that the freshener segment is detachable from the heat source by breaking the wrapper along the line of weakness.
Heat-not-burn device and method
A device and method for converting a consumable into an aerosol with high heat without burning the consumable by packaging the consumable containing an internal susceptor inside an encasement with an induction heating element wrapped around the consumable-containing package to heat the susceptor using a magnetic field generated by the induction heating element. Combustion of the consumable-containing package is minimized by limiting air inside the consumable-containing package by coating a plurality of holes in the encasement material that melts at high temperatures. The coating may also include a flavoring.
DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
The disclosure relates to delivery systems including aerosol-generating material and a cooling agent WS-3 in an amount sufficient to provide a cooling effect. In particular, the disclosure relates to delivery systems that do not provide any clearly noticeable smell or taste other than one of tobacco.
SMOKING ARTICLE TIPPING PAPER COATED WITH FUNCTIONAL MATERIAL AND METHOD OF COATING THE TIPPING PAPER
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a smoking article including a smoking material portion which is wrapped with a smoking material wrapper, a filter portion which has an upstream end combined with the smoking material portion and is wrapped with a filter wrapper, and a tipping paper which is wrapped around at least a partial region of the smoking material portion and the filter portion so that the smoking material portion and the filter portion are combined, wherein the tipping paper is coated with an overprint (OP) coating solution in which at least one functional material and an OP auxiliary agent which enhances the solubility of the at least one functional material are added to an OP ink.
METHOD OF COATING TIPPING PAPER FOR SMOKING ARTICLE AND SMOKING ARTICLE MANUFACTURED ACCORDING THERETO
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a smoking article including a smoking material portion which is wrapped with a smoking material wrapper, a filter portion which has an upstream end combined with the smoking material portion and is wrapped with a filter wrapper, and a tipping paper which wraps around the filter portion and at least a portion of the smoking material portion so that the smoking material portion and the filter portion are combined, wherein a design printing layer, an overprint (OP) coating layer, and a sweetener coating layer are disposed on a surface of the tipping paper.
PEELABLE TOBACCO AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A peelable tobacco includes: an aroma volatilizing area (11), which is configured to volatilize aroma when being heated, wherein the aroma volatilizing area (11) is wrapped with a first packaging paper (1); a filter area (21), which is disposed at an upper portion of the aroma volatilizing area (11), wherein the filter area (21) is wrapped with a second packaging paper (2); and a connecting pre-breakable paper (3), which is connected to an upper portion of the first packaging paper (1) and to a lower portion of the second packaging paper (2), wherein the connecting pre-breakable paper (3) is able to be broken when suffering an external force.
AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE AND AEROSOL GENERATING ARTICLE
An aerosol generating article includes an aerosol generator including a first aerosol generating material which does not include nicotine; a tobacco filler arranged adjacent to an end of the aerosol generator and including a second aerosol generating material including nicotine; a cooler arranged adjacent to an end of the tobacco filler and configured to cool aerosol; and a mouth piece arranged adjacent to an end of the cooler.
INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANT
An adjustable spinal fusion intervertebral implant is provided that can comprise upper and lower body portions that can each have proximal and distal wedge surf aces disposed at proximal and distal ends thereof. An actuator shaft disposed intermediate the upper and lower body portions can be actuated to cause proximal and distal protrusions to converge towards each other and contact the respective ones of the proximal and distal wedge surfaces. Such contact can thereby transfer the longitudinal movement of the proximal and distal protrusions against the proximal and distal wedge surfaces to cause the separation of the upper and lower body portions, thereby expanding the intervertebral implant. The upper and lower body portions can have side portions that help facilitate linear translational movement of the upper body portion relative to the lower body portion.
