SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING VARIATIONS IN THE PENETRATION DEPTHS OF GROUND-ENGAGING TOOLS OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT BASED ON MONITORED TIRE PRESSURES
In one aspect, a system for reducing variations in the penetration depths between ground-engaging tools of an agricultural implement may include an implement having tires spaced apart from each other. The system may also include pressure sensors provided in operative association with the tires, each pressure sensor being configured for detecting an air pressure within the associated tire, Additionally, the system may include a controller communicatively coupled to the pressure sensors. The controller may be configured to monitor an air pressure differential between a pair of tires based on measurement signals received from the pressure sensors. The air pressure differential may be indicative of variability in the penetration depths of the ground-engaging tools. Furthermore, the controller may be configured initiate a control action associated with reducing the variability in the penetration depths of ground-engaging tools when the air pressure differential exceeds or falls below a predetermined tire pressure differential threshold.
Adjustable fertilizer application implement
The present invention discloses an agricultural implement for applying fertilizer beneath the surface of the soil. The implement has a main frame for connecting the agricultural implement to agricultural equipment. A swing arm is pivotally connected to the main frame. An adjustable actuator interconnects the swing arm to the main frame to control the movement of the swing arm with respect to the main frame. A pair of discs are mounted to the free end of the swing arm for rotation with respect to the swing arm. The discs are offset mounted with respect to one another and are angled outwardly with respect to the direction of travel of the implement. The discs form grooves for receipt of fertilizer. Fertilizer tubes are mounted to the swing arms adjacent the discs. The fertilizer tubes deposit fertilizer in the grooves formed by the discs.

System, method, and apparatus for planter weight transfer
A removably installable apparatus and system for managing weight transfer along a tractor drawn tool bar for use in row planting systems is provided. The planter weight transfer system comprises first and second bolt-on bracket assemblies, each bolt-on bracket assembly comprising a primary plate and a secondary plate secured to each other and to a row planter tool bar by a set of fasteners. Additionally, the bolt-on brackets are joined at the top by an actuator which applies a force on the brackets.
Method for controlling arthropod pests
A method for controlling arthropod pests includes: step a): a step of forming furrows in the soil; step b): a step of placing, in the furrows formed in the previous step, seeds retaining one or more neonicotinoid compounds selected from group I, on the surface or in the interior, and a step of applying an aqueous dispersion or an aqueous solution containing one or more neonicotinoid compounds selected from group I to the furrows formed in the previous step; and step c): a step of covering the furrows. In step b above group I is a group selected from clothianidin, thiamethoxam, imidacloprid, and thiacloprid.
