Adapters for refilling an aerosol delivery device are provided. The adapters comprise a body having a container-side end and an opposing, device-side end that are sealably connectable with respectively a container of aerosol precursor composition and an aerosol delivery device having a refillable reservoir. The body defines a passageway between the ends for transfer of aerosol precursor composition from the container into the refillable reservoir. In one adapter, the container-side end is configured to engage a valve of the container during refilling of the reservoir, and thereby defines separate and distinct filling and mating ports. In another adapter, the device-side end includes a valve configured to engage the aerosol delivery device during refilling of the reservoir in which the airflow port of the aerosol delivery device is closed by the valve to prevent the aerosol precursor composition from passing through the airflow port.

An aerosol delivery device includes a cartridge of aerosol precursor composition, and a control body coupled or coupleable to the cartridge. The control body includes a control component to control delivery of components of the aerosol precursor composition in response to detection of airflow through at least a portion of the cartridge or control body, and includes a camera system with a digital camera to capture video imagery of a scene in a field of view thereof. The camera system or the control component is configured to perform video content analytics on the video imagery to detect a temporal or spatial event in the scene, and transfer at least one of the video imagery or information indicative of the temporal or spatial event externally to a computing device configured to store or display the video imagery or information, or perform at least one control operation based on the information.

An aerosol delivery device includes a cartridge of aerosol precursor composition, and a control body coupled or coupleable to the cartridge. The control body includes a control component to control delivery of components of the aerosol precursor composition in response to detection of airflow through at least a portion of the cartridge or control body, and includes a camera system with a digital camera to capture video imagery of a scene in a field of view thereof. A cartridge for housing an aerosol-forming substrate includes a body comprising a side wall and a bottom wall; and a cavity inside the body. One or more of the walls include a heat-deformable portion constructed to form an aperture in response to exposure above a threshold temperature, wherein the cavity is in fluid communication with an outside of the cartridge body via the formed aperture.

A pillowcase vaporizing assembly includes a pillowcase that has an open end to receive a pillow for sleeping. A pouch is provided that has an entry extending into an interior of the pouch and the pouch is insertable into the open end of the pillowcase. A pocket is integrated into the pouch and the pocket is positioned within the pouch. A vaporizer is slidable into the pocket in the pouch and the vaporizer has an output for releasing an inhalable vapor. A hose is fluidly attachable to the output of the vaporizer such that the tube receives the inhalable vapor from the vaporizer. A mouthpiece is fluidly attachable to the hose and the mouthpiece can be placed in the user's mouth thereby facilitating the user to inhale the inhalable vapor.

The present disclosure provides an aerosol delivery device comprising a control device that is connectable with a cartridge and that can include one or more additional elements for improving one or both of visible indications of use to a user and resistance to infiltration of liquid into the control device. More particularly, the control device may include a light guide configured for transmitting to a window from a light source that is off-set from the window and a controller configured to direct a varying level of light from the light source. The control device may include one or more elements that are configured to limit infiltration of liquids into the control device and thus may be consider to be water-resistant or water-proof.

An aerosol delivery device and an aerosol source member for use with an inductive heating aerosol delivery device are provided. The aerosol delivery device comprises a control body having a housing, a resonant transmitter located in the control body, a control component configured to drive the resonant transmitter, and an aerosol source member that includes a substrate portion at least a portion of which is configured to be positioned within range of a field emitted by the resonant transmitter. The delivery device includes a chamber coupled to a power unit capable of providing power to vaporize the formulations for consumption of the substance in a consistently desirable and safe manner.
