MULTI-LAYER GARMENT AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Multi-layered garments and methods of manufacturing the same are provided. Such multi-layered garments comprise at least an outer layer that forms a front portion and a back portion and defines an interior, and at least one inner layer positioned within the interior defined by the outer layer. The inner layer(s) are coupled with the outer layer via an exterior seam or using other adhering methods such that the inner-most inner layer does not have an abrasive surface. The front portion of the outer layer may be coupled with more inner layers as compared to the back portion of the outer layer. The methods for manufacturing the multi-layered garments include the steps of providing an outer layer and coupling at least one inner layer thereto. The methods may be designed to retrofit previously manufactured outer layers with at least one inner layer positioned within an interior defined by the outer layer.
Clothing selectively enabling skin-to-skin contact
A unified garment and method of use thereof are provided wherein the garment that includes a pair of adjustable panels that alternately enable (1.) covering a selected portion of skin of a wearer of the garment; and (2.) exposing the selected portion of the wearer's skin without requiring the wearer to disrobe from the garment. Each panel extends from a same inferior portion of the garment and are detachably attachable at respective attachment points to cause a tension to be imposed between each attachment point and the inferior portion. The garment may include a first pair of apertures adapted to each separately receive a wearer's arm and/or a second pair of apertures adapted to each separately receive a wearer's leg. The garment allows exposure of a wearer's skin to enable direct contact between the garment wearer and the skin of another person for the practice of skin to skin contact.
CHILD JUMPSUIT
A child jumpsuit, including a top head portion with a hood and a body portion with sleeves and legs, is characterized in that the body portion includes a detachable flap located on both sides of the jumpsuit's body portion and containing a narrow part located on the front side of the body portion of the jumpsuit from the head portion to the bottom of the jumpsuit between the legs, and an expanding part, located on the back part of the body portion, which is designed with an expansion up to the width of the middle of the jumpsuit's body portion. The proposed jumpsuit design allows to perform any hygienic manipulations easily and quickly, without taking the jumpsuit off and without taking the child's legs out of the jumpsuit legs—for example, putting the child on a potty, going to the bathroom, changing diapers, daily hygiene procedures.
Piece of clothing for supporting sleep
The invention relates to a piece of clothing (1), in particular to a bodysuit or overall for infants and young children, made from an elastic material for variably wrapping up and for supporting the sleep of an infant or young child, which can be used to cover up at least the torso and at least partially the arms of the body of the infant or young child, comprising a torso section (2) and a sleeve section (3), wherein the torso section (2) is connected to the sleeve section (3) and the sleeve section (3) has at least two regions (4) for variably fixing the arms of the infant or young child, and fastening means (5) for variably wrapping up the infant or young child, wherein the fastening means (5) are at least partially attached in the two regions (4) of the sleeve section (3).
Piece of clothing for supporting sleep
The invention relates to a piece of clothing (1), in particular to a bodysuit or overall for infants and young children, made from an elastic material for variably wrapping up and for supporting the sleep of an infant or young child, which can be used to cover up at least the torso and at least partially the arms of the body of the infant or young child, comprising a torso section (2) and a sleeve section (3), wherein the torso section (2) is connected to the sleeve section (3) and the sleeve section (3) has at least two regions (4) for variably fixing the arms of the infant or young child, and fastening means (5) for variably wrapping up the infant or young child, wherein the fastening means (5) are at least partially attached in the two regions (4) of the sleeve section (3).
Locking zipper and garments associated therewith
A locking zipper pull is described wherein the zipper pull is locked when the pull's lever(s) are locked in a first position and can be unlocked by moving the lever(s) into a second position to allow the zipper pull to be slid along an associated zipper chain.
FACE AND CHIN GUARD FOR INFANTS
A face and chin guard device includes a soft and absorbent main body having a shape and size that is suitable for extending across the face of a wearer. A pair of straps extend outward from the sides of the main body and can be fixed length, adjustable or elastic in nature. A central indentation is provided along the main body and can be adjustable in nature. The device also includes a central aperture along the main body, and a wire disposed along the indentation for allowing movement only along a single plane. The main body also includes decorative elements.
Permanently Embedded Protective Covering for Articles of Clothing
The present invention involves a method for permanently embedding a protective covering in an article of clothing over at least one predetermined portion of the clothing that can be worn by infants, children and adults. The protective covering is made from a thermoplastic material that is applied to and thermally bonds or co-mingles with the outermost fabric fibers of the clothing creating a permanently embedded, liquid impermeable, non-porous protective covering, including an increased height edge, which covering retains the same flexibility as the underlying fabric of the clothing article. The protective covering can be positioned across the top front portion of the clothing article and extend downward to a lower portion of the front of the clothing article creating an easy to clean particle and dirt resistant covering for the clothing article.
