Disclosed herein is a reversible neckline shapewear garment that can be worn forwards or backwards, depending on the wearer's preference. The reversible shapewear garment described herein includes two necklines, wherein the first neckline may extend under the wearer's breasts and the second neckline may extend across or above the wearer's breasts. Advantageously, this reversible garment may be worn backwards or forwards by the wearer while contouring to the natural body without creating visible lines or bulges of fabric or losing shape. Also disclosed herein are methods of assembling and wearing the reversible neckline shapewear garment.

Aspects herein relate to a waistband construct designed to provide support to a torso area of a wearer and more specifically, a mid to lower torso area of a human wearer, (i.e. a pelvic area of a wearer.) The waistband construct in accordance herein may have a multiple modulus of elasticity construction with at least one variation in modulus of elasticity along a circumference of the waistband construct. For example, the waistband construct in accordance with aspects herein may have a first portion having a first modulus of elasticity and a second portion having a second modulus of elasticity, where at least the portion having the higher modulus of elasticity may have a multiple layer construction for providing an effective support mechanism to at least a portion of the mid to lower torso area of the wearer.

Pants with novelty crotch opening. The pants include leg encircling portions and a crotch area with two overlapping panels that bias toward a closed position. Each panel includes a free edge that is pulled laterally to place the crotch area in an open position. When the crotch area is not being held open or has no interposing object holding it open, the crotch area immediately returns to a closed position.
