A convertible fabric covering device adapted to transform from a blanket into a wearable device is provided. The device includes a first fabric covering layer with a first fabric tab coupled thereon and a second fabric covering layer with a second fabric tab coupled thereon, and coupled to the first fabric covering layer. A garment for selectively providing comfort features for a wearer is provided. Broadly, the garment includes a garment body, a pillow housing (including a pillow pad), and a drawstring assembly. The garment body is configured to enclose a torso of a wearer. The pillow housing is secured to the garment body. The pillow housing encloses a pillow pad. The pillow housing is convertible between an uncompressed and a compressed state. The drawstring assembly includes at least one drawstring extending around the pillow housing. A pull force exerted on the drawstring causes the pillow housing (and the pillow pad contained therein) to convert from the uncompressed to the compressed state. In the compressed state, the pillow housing and pillow pad form a cushion configured to provide support for a wearer's neck and head. A method for selectively providing comfort features for a wearer of a garment is also provided.

A protective hand covering has a flexible shell with an open end and a closed end, and a constricted region between the open and closed ends. The constricted region defines a passage for receiving the child's hand. The hand covering may be worn by an infant or small child during sleeping or other activities, A gripping material is disposed on an inside surface of the shell at the constricted region and around the passage. The gripping material has a coefficient of friction higher than a coefficient of friction of the material of the flexible shell, such that the hand covering is discouraged from coming off of the child's hand.

A baby onesie to be worn by a baby includes body covering material configured to cover a body of the body, the body covering material including an opening through which the baby's head can protrude out from, a neckline provided around a perimeter of the opening, the neckline including a neckline fastener configured to be fastened and unfastened to thereby close and open the neckline, respectively, a zipper configured to open and close the body covering material, and a zipper locking mechanism attached to the zipper, the zipper locking mechanism configured to selectively attach to the neckline fastener and thereby lock the zipper in place according to whether the neckline fastener is fastened or unfastened.
