The present invention relates to thermoplastic polyurethanes obtainable or obtained by reacting at least a polyisocyanate composition comprising at least one polyisocyanate, at least one chain extender, and at least one polyol composition, wherein the polyol composition comprises at least one polyester polyol (P1) which is obtainable by reacting an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 2 to 12 carbon atoms and a mixture (M1) comprising propane-1,3-diol and a further diol (D1) having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, preferably butane-1,4-diol. The present invention also relates to a preparation process for such thermoplastic polyurethanes and also to the use of a thermoplastic polyurethane according to the invention or of a thermoplastic polyurethane obtainable or obtained by a process according to the invention for the production of extrusion products, films and shaped bodies or for the production of polymer compositions.

Polyurethane foam and a polyurethane composite comprising the same

The present invention relates to an isocyanate reactive component comprising a specific polyol mixture useful for the preparation of homogenous reactive polyurethane compositions. The invention further relates to a reactive polyurethane composition comprising such isocyanate reactive component and an isocyanate component. It also relates to a homogeneous polyurethane foam having good mold release property and surface quality prepared from such reactive polyurethane compositions. In a further aspect, it relates to a polyurethane composite comprising such homogenous polyurethane foam and having good and flat surface appearance after processing.

PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POLYURETHANE BOOTS

Disclosed is a process for producing polyurethane boots. The method includes mixing organic polyisocyanates with a combination of polyols, a chain extender, a blowing agent, a catalyst, and optionally other auxiliaries and/or additives. The resulting reaction mixture is introduced, in only one injection, into a mold including a sole and an upper of the mold and allowed to react to form a polyurethane boot. At least one catalyst including a tertiary amine and sebacic acid is employed in a molar ratio of 1:0.19 to 0.27.

The invention relates to a process for preparing a fluid conduit comprising a mono-layer comprising a thermoplastic elastomer in an amount of at least 80 wt % with respect to the total weight of the mono-layer, comprising at least the 5 following steps: a. Melting a composition comprising at least a thermoplastic elastomer having a melt volume flow rate measured at 230 C. under a load of 10 kg (MVR 230 C./10 kg), according to IS01133 (2011) of at most 40 g/10 min and having a heat resistance of at least 250 hours at 175 C. at which the 10 elongation at break remains at least 100% as measured according to ISO 527 with a test speed of 50 mm/min; b. Forming a parison from the melt; c. Placing the parsion in a mold; d. Blow-up the parison against the mold; 15 e. Cooling down the mold, thereby obtaining the fluid conduit comprising the mono-layer.
