This invention relates to adhesive compositions comprising a polyester polyol that includes residues of at least one 2, 2, 4, 4-tetraalkylcyclobutane-1, 3-diol, including, for example, 2, 2, 4, 4-tetramethylcyclobutane-1, 3-diol (TMCD). Adhesive compositions as described herein exhibit enhanced properties as compared to conventional adhesive compositions, and may be suitable for a wide variety of end use applications, including, flexible packaging, woodworking, automotive uses, and electronics.
URETHANE-BASED ADHESIVE FOR AUTOMOBILE
The present invention provides an adhesive composition which is a primerless urethane-based adhesive and has high adhesive force with respect to a polyolefin-based resin. An adhesive composition according to the present invention is a two-liquid type urethane-based adhesive composition comprising: a main agent which comprises (A) a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group at the end thereof, (B) a polyfunctional isocyanate compound having an alkoxysilyl group which can be obtained through a reaction of a silane compound having at least two alkoxysilyl groups in one molecule and a polyisocyanate having an isocyanate group at the end thereof and (C1) a first curing catalyst; and a curing agent which comprises (D) a hydrophobic polyol and (C2) a second curing catalyst.

The invention also relates to a resin casting, film or coated substrate, and an adhesive layer or bonding agent, comprising acyclic ether-amine resin obtained by an accelerated curing process according to the invention. The invention additionally relates to the use of a composition of the invention for increasing the delamination strength of laminated composite materials.
CURABLE COMPOSITION
A multi-part curable composition includes: an A part including a polyoxyalkylene polymer (A) having a reactive silicon group, a (meth)acrylic ester polymer (B) having a reactive silicon group, and an epoxy resin curing agent (D); and a B part including an epoxy resin (C) and a silanol condensation catalyst (E). The (meth)acrylic ester polymer (B) is a polymer containing constituent monomers including 40 to 70% by weight of an alkyl (meth)acrylate (b1) having an alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, a monomer (b2) having a reactive silicon group and a polymerizable unsaturated group, and a macromonomer (b3) that is a (meth)acrylic ester polymer having a polymerizable unsaturated group.
Crystalline Polyesterpolyol
The present invention refers to a polyesterpolyol which is obtained by reaction of at least one diol with at least one primary hydroxy group and at least one secondary hydroxy group with a saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid comprising a carbon chain of at least 12 carbon atoms. The invention further relates to an adhesive composition containing the polyesterpolyol, in particular a polyurethane adhesive composition.
