A ball glove engineered with exposed edge stitching, as opposed to turned leather, whereby the front (palm) and back are joined with one another in the same orientation as they are die cut. The resulting mating of front and back without welting exposes the edge of the leather (or other material) constituting the ball glove with joint lines on the back of the finger(s). Without turning the ball glove, other improvements may be seen such as the use of painted edge, exotic material types, and hard embellishments.

A glove is disclosed having a donning assister to enable a wearer of the glove to quickly and easily don a glove on a wearer's hand. In one embodiment, the glove includes a wrist cuff portion, a hem portion positioned at a base of the wrist cuff portion, an at least partially enclosed space formed within the hem portion, and a gripper positioned in the at least partially enclosed space. The at least partially enclosed space is defined by hem stitches and by a pair of laterally opposed stitches positioned on the palm side of the glove anywhere along a circumference of the hem portion between a thumb of the glove on one end and a pinky finger of the glove on the other end.

A peroxide formulation includes at least one peroxide and at least one compound having a secondary amine group selected from amino acids, such as arginine, folic acid, and polyethyleneamines. The peroxide formulation is capable of curing an aqueous elastomer such as a latex in the full or partial presence of oxygen. Methods of using the peroxide formulation include dip-molding latex elastomer compositions.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a protective sports glove having a novel combination of liner sections, breathable mesh sections, stretch joints, and shock absorbing cushions to provide maximum protection to the user's fingers, hands, wrists, and lower forearms while maintaining as much flexibility within the glove and tactile feel on both palmar and dorsal sides of the glove as possible. A method of protecting a participant user, participant player, players, referee, official, coach or spectator from skin contact with an exposed connector by isolating the connector of a sports glove, which includes a front palm portion having finger stalls for insertion of fingers therein, and a rear back joinable portion which is attachable to said front palm portion by a connector, such as a zipper. The method includes the step of removably covering the zipper connector with a friction fit fly cover having an attachment end and a free end, wherein further lifting of the free end of the fly cover exposes the zipper for participant user engagement therewith. The fly cover prevents any exposure of the metallic or plastic connector.

A scraper glove is provided and includes a glove body and a scraper element. The glove body is mitten-shaped and includes a thumb sleeve and a fingers sleeve. The scraper element is attached to an exterior surface of the fingers sleeve and includes a receptacle portion to accept one or more fingers of a user when positioned within the fingers sleeve, and a scraping portion extending from the receptacle portion and integrally connected to the receptacle portion. The scraping portion includes a scraping edge with one or more teeth, and the scraping edge is configured to scrape pulp of a plant-based medium to hollow-out the plant-based medium. The scraper element further includes a textured leverage point on an anterior external surface of the scraper element between an end of the receptacle portion and the scraping edge.

This invention relates generally to an aid for playing a stringed instrument in the form of a glove comprising a plectrum protruding from the glove thumb tip and/or from one or more of the glove finger tips. The field of use in hand devices for playing stringed instruments. The aid for playing a stringed musical instrument, comprises: a glove with a glove thumb comprising a thumb plectrum rigidly connected to a rigid thumb portion of the glove thumb, wherein the rigid thumb portion encircles or partially encircles the glove thumb to hold the thumb plectrum snug on a thumb of the glove wearer.

A foam hand is provided with the fingers and thumb extended outwardly in an open hand gesture. The hand includes a plurality of openings or slots into which the fingers and thumb can be selectively inserted for retention, and thereby configure the hand in multiple gestures. The base of the hand includes a slot or pocket into which a user can insert his/her hand so as to wear the foam hand over their own hand.

A glove with an enhanced gripping textured surface is disclosed herein. In preferred embodiments, the glove contains a palm region adapted to cover the palm of a person's hand, a thumb region extending outwardly from the palm region, an index finger region disposed adjacent the thumb region, a middle finger region adjacent the index finger region, a ring finger region adjacent the middle finger region, and a little finger region adjacent the ring finger region with each region containing a textured surface. In preferred embodiments, the textured surface is formed by a plurality of dimensionally hierarchical structures superimposed in layers. The textured surface of the invention, when in contact with wet tissue, repels water at a first texture layer and traps tissue at a second texture layer, such that when in tissue contact, especially exudative tissue, tissue fixatively localizes to the glove surface.
