DUAL UV BLOCKERS CONTAINING STABLE PHOTOACTIVE MASS POLYMERIZABLE POLYCYCLOOLEFIN COMPOSITIONS AS OPTICAL MATERIALS
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions encompassing a latent organo-ruthenium compound, a photosensitizer, one or more monomers which undergo ring open metathesis polymerization (ROMP) and at least two distinct types of UV blockers, where when said composition is exposed to suitable actinic radiation forms a substantially transparent film or a three dimensional object. Surprisingly, the compositions are very stable at ambient conditions to temperatures up to 80° C. for several weeks and undergo mass polymerization only when subjected to actinic radiation under inert atmosphere such as for example a blanket of nitrogen. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful in various opto-electronic applications, including as 3D printing materials, coatings, encapsulants, fillers, leveling agents, among others.
THERMOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION, PREPREG CONTAINING SAME, METAL FOIL-CLAD LAMINATE AND PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
The thermosetting resin composition, a prepreg containing same, a metal foil-clad laminate and a printed circuit board; the resin composition comprises the following components: a combination of a bismaleimide resin and a benzoxazine resin or a prepolymer of a bismaleimide resin and a benzoxazine resin, an epoxy resin and an active ester. A metal foil-clad laminate prepared by using the resin composition provided by the present invention has a high glass transition temperature, a low thermal expansion coefficient, a high high-temperature modulus, a high peel strength, a low dielectric constant, a low dielectric loss factor, as well as good heat resistance and good processability.
STABLE MASS POLYMERIZABLE POLYCYCLOOLEFIN COMPOSITIONS AS 3D PRINTING MATERIALS AND A METHOD OF FABRICATION THEREOF
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions encompassing a latent organo-ruthenium compound, a pyridine compound, a photosensitizer and an ultra violet light blocking compound along with one or more monomers which undergo ring open metathesis polymerization (ROMP) when said composition is exposed to suitable actinic radiation to form a substantially transparent film or a three dimensional object. Surprisingly, the compositions are very stable at ambient conditions to temperatures up to 80° C. for several days and undergo mass polymerization only when subjected to actinic radiation under inert atmosphere such as for example a blanket of nitrogen. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful in various opto-electronic applications, including as 3D printing materials, coatings, encapsulants, fillers, leveling agents, among others.
FILM CAPACITOR
The present invention is a film capacitor comprising a dielectric film and a metal layer, the dielectric film being a resin film obtained by stretching an unstretched film produced using a crystalline hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer, and heating the resulting stretched film, and the resin film having a softening point of 250 to 320° C., a thermal shrinkage ratio of 0.01 to 5.0% when heated at 200° C. for 10 minutes, a loss tangent (tanδ) of 0.0001 to 0.0010, and a coefficient of static friction of 0.01 to 1.00. The present invention provides a film capacitor that includes a resin film as a dielectric film, the resin film exhibiting excellent heat resistance, excellent withstand voltage properties, and excellent workability.
GAS BARRIER FILM, OPTICAL FILM, AND FLEXIBLE DISPLAY
This invention provides a gas barrier film, which can suppress blocking and winding deviation, and an optical film using the gas barrier film.
The gas barrier film includes a flexible substrate and an inorganic thin film layer formed on at least one surface of the flexible substrate. A static friction coefficient between one surface of the gas barrier film and the other surface is not less than 0.85 and not more than 2.0, and when a 50 mm-square portion cut from the gas barrier film is placed on a horizontal surface such that a central portion of the 50 mm-square portion is in contact with the horizontal surface, an average value of distances from the horizontal surface to four corners of the 50 mm-square portion is not more than 2 mm.

A coated container includes: a container having a surface; and a coating applied to at least part of the surface to form a coated surface. Leaching of at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds is determined by performing an alkaline treatment on at least part of the coated surface to obtain an alkaline treated surface and performing an acidic treatment on at least part of the alkaline treated surface to obtain an acidic treated surface. The leaching of the at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds from the coated surface is 5.00 mg/l or less.

A laminated uncured sheet of the present disclosure has a structure in which resin sheet layers and resin layers are alternately laminated and a through hole penetrating in the laminating direction is formed, wherein the resin sheet layers are formed with a thermosetting resin composition containing a thermosetting resin as a main component, the resin layers are formed with a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin, and the thermoplastic resin composition is adhered to the inner wall surface of the resin sheet layer part in the through hole.

The cyclic olefin-based resin composition of the present invention is a cyclic olefin-based resin composition including: a cyclic olefin-based copolymer (A); and inorganic fine particles (B) having a surface modified by a modifier, in which the modifier is one kind or two or more kinds selected from the group consisting of a phosphoric acid ester, an organic phosphonic acid, a phosphonic acid ester, a carboxylic acid, a sulfonic acid, a hydrocarbon compound having an amino group, and a silane coupling agent, and the inorganic fine particles (B) exist in a state of being dispersed in the cyclic olefin-based copolymer (A).
