COMPOUND AND OPTICAL FILM COMPRISING SAME
The present specification relates to a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1, a composition for forming an optical film and an optical film comprising the same, and a display device comprising the optical film.
POLYAMIDE-BASED FILM, METHOD OF PREPARING POLYAMIDE-BASED FILM, COVER WINDOW AND DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME
The embodiments provide a polyamide-based film, which comprises a polyamide-based polymer and has a light resistance index of 0.660 GPa-1 or less as represented by the following Equation 1, whereby it has excellent mechanical properties, optical properties, and light resistance. [Equation 1] Light resistance index=ΔYI/Y. In Equation 1, Y is the modulus of the film, and ΔYI is the rate of change in yellow index (YI) of the film before and after a light resistance test in which UV rays are irradiated to the film at 60° C., the UV irradiation is stopped, and water is sprayed at 50° C.
FOAMABLE COMPOSITION CONTAINING RECOVERED SILICON SLUDGE, FOAMED MATERIAL PREPARED THEREFROM AND COMPOSITE PRODUCT INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed herein is a foamable composition including a polymer component, a foaming agent, a crosslinking agent, a filler, and a recovered silicon sludge containing silicon carbide and silicon. The polymer component is present in an amount ranging from 15 wt % to 60 wt % based on a total weight of the foamable composition. A foamed material prepared from the foamable composition and a composite product including the same are also disclosed.
Polyurethane comprising graphene nano structure
Described herein is a cast elastomer including graphene nano platelets and a process for preparing the same.
Lubricious hydrophilic coatings and methods of forming the same
Self-crosslinking hydrophilic coatings and methods of forming the same are disclosed. The lubricious hydrophilic coatings may be formed on the surfaces of medical devices. The self-crosslinking hydrophilic coating formulations form a hydrophilic coating when the solvent of the hydrophilic coating formulation is dried off, or otherwise removed, from the formulation.
STABILIZER COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR USING SAME FOR PROTECTING POLYMERIC ORGANIC MATERIALS FROM UV LIGHT AND THERMAL DEGRADATION
Stabilizer compositions having a stabilizing amount of at least one co-active agent; an ultraviolet light absorber chosen from an ortho-hydroxy benzophenone, and/or an ortho-hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole; and a hindered amine light stabilizer, are provided herein, along with masterbatch concentrates containing same, and processes for using same for stabilizing polymeric organic materials to protect against light and thermal degradation due to exposure to UV irradiation.
Silane crosslinkable polymer composition
The invention relates to a crosslinkable polymer composition comprising (a) a polyolefin bearing hydrolysable silane groups and a silanol condensation catalyst compound, as well as to an article, preferably a cable, thereof. Also the use of the silanol condensation catalyst compound for crosslinking an article, preferably a layer of a cable is provided.
High light transmittance photovoltaic encapsulating material
The present disclosure relates to a high light transmittance photovoltaic encapsulating material, which is prepared by the following process: subjecting 100 mass parts of a photovoltaic encapsulating material matrix resin or a graft-modified matrix resin, 0.001 to 5 mass parts of an oxygen- or sulfur-containing compound, 0.01 to 10 mass parts of a reactive plasticize 0.01 to 1.5 mass parts of an initiator, 0.01 to 10 mass parts of an assistant cross-linker, 0.1 to 3.0 mass parts of a silane coupling agent, 0.1 to 0.4 mass parts of an ultraviolet light absorber, and 0.1 to 1.0 mass part of light stabilizer to pre-mixing, melt extrusion, film casting, cooling, slitting, and coiling. The light transmittance of the photovoltaic encapsulating material is improved, and the refractive indexes of glass/front-layer encapsulating material/cell match each other, thereby increasing the sunlight utilization ratio of a module, and optimizing the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the module.
