The present invention relates to a thermoplastic molding composition comprising a thermoplastic polyester, a metal salt of formula (I), a halogen-containing flame retardant, and an anti-dripping agent; a method of producing fibers, foils and moldings comprising the use of the thermoplastic molding composition; and a fiber, foil or molding obtained from the thermoplastic molding composition.

The present specification relates to a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1, a photoresist fluorescent resin composition including the same, and a color conversion film manufactured using the same, a backlight unit and a display apparatus.

The composition includes an amorphous fluoropolymer having at least one of bromo- or iodo-cure sites, benzoyl peroxide, and a crosslinker comprising more than one carbon-carbon double bond. Benzoyl peroxide is present in an amount of three to four parts per hundred parts of fluoropolymer in the composition, and the benzoyl peroxide is present in an amount greater than or equal to that of the crosslinker. An article made from the composition and a method of making a fluoroelastomer are also disclosed.

A rubber composition is provided that contains an ethylene-butene-diene terpolymer, silica having a CTAB specific surface area of 30 m.sup.2/g or more and 150 m.sup.2/g or less, a silane coupling agent, and a crosslinking agent, in which a content of the silica per 100 parts by weight of the ethylene-butene-diene terpolymer is 25 parts by weight or more and 90 parts by weight or less.

Modified lignin products, processes for making them, and their use to produce rigid polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foams are disclosed. The processes comprise heating a lignin source with a nitrogen source and a starved concentration of a C.sub.1-C.sub.5 aldehyde to give a reaction mixture comprising a Mannich condensation product, neutralizing the reaction mixture, and isolating the modified lignin product. The process is performed at a mass ratio of lignin source to nitrogen source within the range of 1:1 to 1:5 and at a molar ratio of nitrogen source to C.sub.1-C.sub.5 aldehyde within the range of 3.5:1 to 1:1. Polyol blends and performance additives that contain the modified lignin products are described. Rigid foams that process well and incorporate up to 60 wt.%, based on the amount of polyol component, of the modified lignin contribute to excellent flame retardancy and low-temperature R-value performance.

The present disclosure describes, in part, an enzyme-mediated radical initiating system and methods of using the system to produce polymers, including polymeric hydrogels, at ambient conditions.

A thermoplastic elastomer composition and method of making the thermoplastic elastomer are disclosed. The thermoplastic elastomer may comprise a polymer blend. The polymer bland may comprise a non-crosslinked elastomer, oil, polyethylene, and anti-oxidant. The oil may be from about 15 wt. % to about 50 wt. % oil. The polyethylene may be from about 3 wt. % to about 30 wt. %. The anti-oxidant may be from about 0 to about 0.5 wt. %.

The present invention relates to a plasticizer composition, a resin composition, and a method of preparing the plasticizer composition. The plasticizer composition comprising an isophthalate-based material; and an epoxy-based alkyl ester compound represented by Chemical Formula 1. ##STR00001##

According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a composition includes about 5 to about 40 parts by weight of a solute copolymer component. The solute component optionally has one T.sub.g or T.sub.m of at least 25° C. The composition further includes about 60 to about 95 parts by weight of a solvent monomer. The solvent monomer component includes (meth)acrylate monomers and a multifunctional acrylate. The sum of the solute copolymer component and the solvent monomer component is 100 parts by weight. The composition further includes about 5 to about 100 parts of a plasticizer, relative to the 100 parts.
