ADJUSTABLE BRA STRAP, BRASSIERE WITH ADJUSTABLE STRAPS, AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING AND SECURING STRAPS
Systems and methods for adjustable straps are disclosed. In various exemplary embodiments, adjustable slider-like mechanisms are configured with one or more protrusions for inserting through corresponding slits in a garment strap, for example a brassiere strap. In this manner, adjustable straps may be fixed in place and resist slippage, leading to improved wearer comfort and reducing or eliminating the need for regular adjustment.
Adjustable bra
The present disclosure is directed to various embodiments of an adjustable bra, or sports bra. The bra includes a front portion, side portions and a rear portion. Two straps extend between the front portion and the rear portion. The bra further includes a chest band which extends about its lower perimeter. The bra additionally includes a corset mechanism. The various embodiments of the bra disclosed herein are adjustable in at least four ways to suit any size and any activity. First, the wearer may adjust the diameter of the chest band. Second, the wearer may adjust the length of the straps. Third, the wearer may adjust the position of the straps (i.e., whether crossed). Finally, the user may adjust the corset mechanism to vary compressive forces on the breasts. In various embodiments, each of these adjustments is made from the front of bra and without requiring removal.
Brassiere cups and methods of manufacturing the same
A brassiere cup for a bra is disclosed. The cup comprises an inner foam-fabric layer which is in contact with a wearer's skin. The cup further comprises an outer spacer fabric layer and a middle plastic underwire. The outer spacer fabric layer is arranged on an outer side of the inner foam-fabric layer, the side being distal from the wearer's skin; and the middle underwire is sandwiched between the inner foam-fabric layer and the outer spacer fabric layer at the lower region. The outer spacer fabric layer comprises at least two fabric layers between which a support containing fusible yarn is sandwiched.
UNDERGARMENT WITH AN ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT CONFIGURATION
The bra adjustment mechanism enables a wearer to modify the fit of the garment. The adjustment mechanism is suitable for bras having a cup portion, a body surround portion and a strap that is connected between the cup and body surround portions. The strap has a free end with a connector for attaching the strap to a body surround portion, which has a plurality of connection positions for to securing the connector to the body surround at a selected position. The body surround preferably includes an elastic segment that provides an expansion area in the body surround for maximum sizing flexibility upon closure of the bra or movement by a wearer.
GARMENT LENGTH ADJUSTER
Implementations of a garment length adjuster are provided. In some implementations, the garment length adjuster comprises a frame defining an interior opening and a plurality of elongated projections having a gap between adjacent projection or a projection and side where each projection extends from a first side toward second opposite side within the interior opening. In some implementations, the garment length adjuster is used to adjust the length of a garment by routing one or more straps of the garment over thought one or more gaps and one or more projections of the garment length adjuster.

A clothing article having a cup part includes a main body cloth front part 11, a main body cloth rear part 12, and a main body cloth shoulder strap 14 that are formed only of an elastic material. The main body cloth shoulder strap 14 is continuously formed with the main body cloth front part 11 and the main body cloth rear part 12. The main body cloth shoulder strap 14 is larger in width and less prone to stretch at a main body cloth shoulder strap top portion 14a than at a main body cloth front part joint portion 15 and at a main body cloth rear part joint portion 16. The main body cloth front part 11 is less prone to stretch at its bust part, and the main body cloth rear part 12 is less prone to stretch at its center zone. The main body cloth rear part joint portion 16 is placed more inward than the main body cloth shoulder strap top portion 14a and the main body cloth front part joint portion 15.

A cover can be installed on an undergarment having a back strap and a pair of shoulder straps. The cover has a casing for covering the back strap. The casing is adapted to extend from one of the pair of shoulder straps to the other. An outer garment can be worn over the undergarment that is fitted with the cover.
