Artificial hair fiber having shape memory and shape restoration function, artificial hair fiber having excellent flame resistance, and artificial hair fiber having low gloss appearance are provided. Provided is an artificial hair fiber including a resin composition including at least one polyamide, the artificial hair fiber satisfying at least one of constitutions (1) to (3): (1) the fiber has a modulus of elasticity of 2400 to 3000 N/mm.sup.2; (2) the polyamide has a weight average molecular weight Mw of 6.5×10.sup.4 to 15×10.sup.4 and the fiber has a modulus of elasticity of 500 to 15000 N/mm.sup.2; (3) the fiber has a modulus of elasticity of 500 to 15000 N/mm.sup.2 and the resin composition contains 5 to 20 parts by mass of fine particles with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyamide.

Provided is a system and a heating method for the system, that includes a stand, a heatable headform disposed on a one end of the stand, and a power supply for receiving power via a power connector from an external power source. The heatable headform receives power from the external power source via the power supply. The system further includes a replaceable human hair covering formed of heat conductive material, to be placed over the heatable headform and heated via the heatable headform for performing hair processing or other chemical processing operations thereon, to simulate that of a human being.

The present disclosure provides a method for generating a 3D digital model used in hairpiece manufacturing is provided, which comprises: obtaining an initial 3D model of a head; identifying an outline of a target area to be covered by a hairpiece on the initial 3D model; and cutting the initial 3D model based at least partially on the target area to obtain a refined 3D model. A physical mold used in hairpiece manufacturing and a method for generating the same are also provided according to other aspects of the present disclosure.
