Surface covering for use as artificial moss, grass, roots, hair, and the like
A surface covering for use as a moss covering or patch of grass via application to a surface or substrate. The surface covering provides a decorative and durable and easily maintained surface covering. The covering is fabricated using groups of fibers, such as metallic, plastic, or other material fibers, e.g., stainless steel fibers or strands available commercially as steel wool or the like. The fibers or strands provide a core of a body of each blade or piece of the surface covering, which is useful to replicate a blade of grass or moss or to mimic a strand of hair. Each body of the strands further includes an outer layer or coating, which can be formed by painting, e.g., with an epoxy or other useful material that may be colored, the mesh of metal fibers to provide a durable body with a desired look and feel.
CHANGEABLE WIG AND METHOD FOR TRANSFORMING WIG
Provided are a changeable wig in which textures thereof are transformed by performing a heat treatment of a using wig and a method for transforming a wig.
FASTENER FOR WIG AND WIG USING THE SAME
A fastener for a wig having two approximately U-shape members, each configured of a comb teeth fixed piece, and two curved elastic leg portions which extend from both ends of the comb teeth fixed piece. The two approximately U-shape members are connected to each other at a plurality of connecting points located away from each other in a direction that each of the curved elastic leg portions extends under the condition that opening portions of the approximately U-shape members face each other and the curved elastic leg portions are overlapped each other. Accordingly, both members have both a high elastic deformation capability and a high integrity. Therefore, during the operation such that the fastener for a wig are reversed by fingers, if one of the approximately U-shape members is reversed, the other approximately U-shape member is always reversed at the same time, one reversing operation is always enough.

POLYESTER ARTIFICIAL HAIR AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
A flame-retardant polyester artificial hair filaments according to the present invention comprises: (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin; (B) 10-20 parts by weight of a polymeric brominated polystyrene flame retardant; (B) 5-10 parts by weight of a polymeric phosphorus flame retardant; (D) 0.1-3 parts by weight of a chain extender; and (E) 0.5-3 parts by weight of sodium antimonate.
Method of installing a wig, a wig for using the method, and methods of making the wig
A method of installing a wig on the head of a wearer, the wig having a top portion that defines an opening corresponding to the wearer's part, the top portion being composed of a fabric and having wig hairs attached to the top portion. Wig clips attach the wig to the wearer's natural hair on the opposing sides of the wearer's part so that the wearer's natural part is exposed. The wearer's natural hair is not disposed over the fabric at the edges of the opening. Alternatively, a leave-out of the wearers natural hair does not cover the wig hair adjacent to the edges of the opening. The wig hair adjacent to the edges of the opening may be tangled or the installer may tease the wig hairs adjacent to the edges of the opening. The invention is also a wig for application of the method.
Satin Hair Edge Protector
The utility model discloses a thin, soft and flexible satin hair edge protector. Outside surface consist of a smooth satin material. Inside embedment, a soft felt rectangular shaped cushion with symmetrical ends and a rounded front to mimic the contour of a human's hair edge. A thin layer of spray adhesive seals felt and satin together. The satin hair edge protector's fabric edges are trimmed and secured closed by sewing thread. A clear fray solution is applied around the sewn cut edge to prevent unraveling. A double sided adhesive strip accompanies the posterior side and serves as the attachment between the satin hair edge protector and wig. The satin hair edge protector is designed to be simple, and easy to assemble inside wig. Also the utility model is unique to its kind, thin in shape, relieves hair edge irritation which may cause hair loss, promotes comfort and stabilizes wig placement.
FLEXIBLE HAIR PIECE
A wig or hairpiece combines a hair piece and a headband to provide a workout wig that is adjustable and secure. Fibers are attached to a hairpiece cap and the headband is attached around the circumference of the hairpiece cap. A cord and cord lock is inserted in a casing in the hairpiece cap to allow adjustment of the circumference of the wig. In a second aspect, a hair piece is designed to be attached to different types of head gear in a way that is comfortable, flexible and secure.
Detachable Crown Hair Topper
A means of representing an improved form of hair transformation hairpieces that can be attached to the scalp or the wearer's natural hair, allowing the wearer to attain a complete look without manipulating his/her natural hair whereas the assembly is more focused on individual's facing Alopecia and allows them to attach or detach the assembly without any professional assistance or learning curve.
Wig Base
A wig base comprises a sheet of material having a dome shape with a peak, a border defining a bottom opening, and an anterior portion comprising net material. A reinforcement, for a gap that can be formed in a selected area of the net material adjacent the bottom opening, is provided by one of a plurality of strips of fabric each of which has a pair of opposite ends spaced from each other and located adjacent the border of the sheet, and a U-shaped intermediate portion connecting one of the ends to the other and extending from the border toward the peak. A wearer's natural hair can be passed through a gap and blended with hair woven to the net material of wig base. The reinforcement maintains the integrity of the wig base.
