Post-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive
The present disclosure is directed to a curable precursor of a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising: a) a (co)polymeric material comprising the reaction product of a (co)polymerizable material comprising a (meth)acrylate ester monomer; and optionally, a co-monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and which is different from the (meth)acrylate ester monomer; b) a polyfunctional aziridine curing agent; and c) an acid generating agent. The present disclosure is also directed to a method of manufacturing such pressure sensitive adhesives and uses thereof.
MALONATES AND DERIVATIVES FOR IN-SITU FILMS
The present teachings contemplate a method comprising coating an polymeric material with a composition including a dicarbonyl compound and having a viscosity of from about 50 cps to about 500 cps, wherein the coating initiates either: (i) spontaneous polymerization (e.g., in less than about one minute) at room temperature of the composition without the addition of an initiator; or (ii) polymerization at room temperature at a selected later time with or without the addition of an initiator; and wherein the composition adheres or facilitates adhesion of the polymeric material to a substrate.

Stabilized calcium phosphate
A method of forming a stabilized calcium phosphate moiety for use in dental or biomedical applications includes providing a solution or dispersion including a calcium salt and reacting an organic phosphate having a polymerizable methacrylate or vinyl group with the solution or dispersion in order to form the calcium phosphate moiety having at least one pendant polymerizable group and at least one organic functional group, which may be the same group. A polymerizable composite system having a stabilized calcium phosphate formed according to the method is also provided.

Method for manufacturing optical member
A method for manufacturing an optical member which can improve bonding properties between a first member having a light transmitting property and a second member. The method includes a precuring step of forming a photocuring precured resin layer on a surface of the first member or the second member, the photocuring precured resin layer having a thin film on a side to be bonded with the second member or the first member, a bonding step of bonding the first member and the second member via the precured resin layer, and a final curing step of final-curing the precured resin layer to form a light transmitting resin layer. It is thereby possible to reduce the elastic modulus of the precured resin layer, suppress protrusion during bonding, and improve bonding properties.

Polymerizable composition and kit, and polymerization initiator
The present invention improves the long-term storage stability of a polymerizable composition including an organoborane and a polymerizable monomer. A polymerizable composition includes (A) an organoborane, (B) an acidic group-free polymerizable monomer, and (C) a stabilizer for the organoborane (A), the composition being such that when the composition, after being allowed to stand at 45° C. for 48 hours, is analyzed with an E-type viscometer at a temperature of 25° C. and a rotational speed of 50 rpm, the ratio of the viscosity after the standing to the viscosity before the standing (viscosity after standing/viscosity before standing) is less than 100.
