LABEL
The present invention provides a label having excellent barrier property and transparency, wherein contamination of the container and adhesive residue due to the residual monomer in the adhesive layer are suppressed. The label is a label that is used for shrink-wrapping a container body of a resin container by wrapping around a barrel of the container body and heat-shrinking the shrinkable label, wherein the label comprises at least one heat shrinkable base material, a transparent vapor-deposited film consisting of an inorganic oxide, and an adhesive layer, and the adhesive layer comprises an adhesive composition comprising a triblock copolymer having a block structure of segment A1-segment B-segment A2.
CURABLE ADHESIVE WITH IMPROVED DIECUTTABILITY AND IMPROVED SHOCK PROPERTIES
The invention relates to a curable adhesive comprising, based on the mass of the curable adhesive: a) one or more (meth)acrylate block copolymers of the structure A-B-A in a combined mass fraction of 25% or more, where the A blocks independently of one another stand for a poly(meth)acrylate having a glass transition temperature Tg of 50° C. or more which is preparable by polymerization of an A monomer composition composed of A monomers, where the B block stands for a poly(meth)acrylate having a glass transition temperature Tg of less than 50° C. which is preparable by polymerization of a B monomer composition composed of B monomers, b) one or more polymerizable first epoxide compounds E1 in a combined mass fraction of 5% or more, where the first epoxide compound E1 at 25° C. is a solid or a high-viscosity substance, and c) one or more polymerizable second epoxide compounds E2 in a combined mass fraction of 5% or more, where the second epoxide compound E2 at 25° C. is a liquid, where the amount-of-substance-weighted polar component of the Hansen solubility parameters <δ.sub.p> of the monomer units derived from A monomers in the A blocks, <δ.sub.p>(A), is in the range from 9.0 to 11.0 MPa.sup.0.5, and where the amount-of-substance-weighted polar component of the Hansen solubility parameters <δ.sub.p> of the monomer units derived from B monomers in the B blocks, <δ.sub.p>(B) is less than 9 MPa.sup.0.5.
CURABLE ADHESIVE WITH IMPROVED DIECUTTABILITY AND IMPROVED SHOCK PROPERTIES
The invention relates to a curable adhesive comprising, based on the mass of the curable adhesive: a) one or more (meth)acrylate block copolymers of the structure A-B-A in a combined mass fraction of 25% or more, where the A blocks independently of one another stand for a poly(meth)acrylate having a glass transition temperature Tg of 50° C. or more which is preparable by polymerization of an A monomer composition composed of A monomers, where the B block stands for a poly(meth)acrylate having a glass transition temperature Tg of less than 50° C. which is preparable by polymerization of a B monomer composition composed of B monomers, b) one or more polymerizable first epoxide compounds E1 in a combined mass fraction of 5% or more, where the first epoxide compound E1 at 25° C. is a solid or a high-viscosity substance, and c) one or more polymerizable second epoxide compounds E2 in a combined mass fraction of 5% or more, where the second epoxide compound E2 at 25° C. is a liquid, where the amount-of-substance-weighted polar component of the Hansen solubility parameters <δ.sub.p> of the monomer units derived from A monomers in the A blocks, <δ.sub.p>(A), is in the range from 9.0 to 11.0 MPa.sup.0.5, and where the amount-of-substance-weighted polar component of the Hansen solubility parameters <δ.sub.p> of the monomer units derived from B monomers in the B blocks, <δ.sub.p>(B) is less than 9 MPa.sup.0.5.
Low volatile tackifier compositions
A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.

A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.

A semicrystalline multiblock copolymer includes alternating blocks of semicrystalline isotactic polypropylene (iPP) and semicrystalline polyethylene (PE), having a block arrangement according to formula (I):
(iPP.sub.w).sub.p(PE.sub.x)(iPP.sub.y).sub.m(PE.sub.z).sub.n (I),
wherein p is 0 or 1; m is 0 or 1; n is 0 or 1; the sum of p, m, and n is 1, 2, or 3; and the sum of w, x, y, and z is greater than or equal to 40 kg/mol, with the provisos that: when m and n are 0, the sum of w and x is greater than or equal to 140 kg/mol; and when p and n are 0, the sum of y and x is greater than or equal to 140 kg/mol. Related compositions and methods are also provided.

The present invention aims to provide a compound capable of increasing the adhesion strength of adhesive compositions, particularly, even to low polarity adherends. The present invention also aims to provide a method for producing the compound, an adhesive composition containing the compound, and an adhesive tape including an adhesive layer containing the adhesive composition. Provided is a compound including at least one structural unit (A) selected from the group consisting of a structural unit (A-1) and a structural unit (A-1′) that are represented by the following formulas:
