POLYOLEFIN RESIN FOAM AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF AND ADHESIVE TAPE
One object of the present invention is to provide a polyolefin resin foam sheet suitable as a sealing substrate having both flexibility and heat resistance despite its thinness, and an adhesive tape in which the polyolefin resin foam sheet is used. In order to achieve this, the polyolefin resin foam includes a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein the endothermic peaks measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) occur in the range of at least 110 C. or more and 143 C. or less and at 153 C. or more, and the thermoplastic elastomer resin is contained at a ratio of 30% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the polyolefin resin.
Adhesive system with highly reactive pretreatment agent
An adhesive system, having an adhesion promoter composition, containing at least one mercaptosilane, at least one polysilane, at least one transition metal complex having substantially only monodentate ligands, and at least one non-alcoholic solvent, and an adhesive, wherein the adhesive, within an hour after application and storage at 23 C. and 50% relative air humidity, has a tensile shear strength of at least 3 MPa, as measured according to ISO 4587, and/or, within an hour after application and storage at 23 C. and 50% relative air humidity, has at least 50%, preferably at least 60%, of the tensile shear strength achievable after application and storage for 7 days at 23 C. and 50% relative air humidity, as measured according to ISO 4587. An adhesion promoter system has a liquid container having a manually actuable output apparatus, and an adhesion promoter composition, as disclosed above.
UV curable adhesives based on acrylic polymers
The present invention relates to a UV curable adhesive composition comprising a UV curable acrylic polymer comprising at least one covalently bound UV-reactive group and a cationic photoinitiator and a method of curing such composition. The invention further includes hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives comprising such cured composition and use of said hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives.

The present invention relates to an anti-scattering film and a method for manufacturing the same, the anti-scattering film including: a transparent film; and a hard coating layer formed on top of the transparent film, in which the hard coating layer is formed of a composition which includes a UV-curable acrylate resin, first inorganic nanoparticles, second inorganic nanoparticles, a photoinitiator, and a mixed solvent comprising a ketone-based solvent and an alcohol-based solvent, and a plurality of protruding parts is formed on an upper surface of the hard coating layer.
CORROSION PREVENTION TAPE
The present invention relates to a corrosion prevention tape for wrapping an irregular pipe section, the tape comprising: (i) an adhesive component, the adhesive component comprising: from 10 to 50 wt % functionally modified elastomer, and from 0.1 to 20 wt % discrete reinforcing strands dispersed within the adhesive component; and (ii) a backing layer for the adhesive component.

AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE DISPERSION ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS
An aqueous polyurethane dispersion compositions are disclosed. The compositions include a polyurethane prepolymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, the polyurethane prepolymer comprising an isocyanate and a crystalline polyester polyol having a hydroxyl content of 20 to 150 mg KOH/g and a melt temperature of less than or equal to 90 C. Methods of forming a laminate are also disclosed. The methods include providing an aqueous polyurethane dispersion, applying the polyurethane dispersion to a surface of the first substrate, bringing the side of the first substrate into contract with a surface of the second substrate, and curing the aqueous dispersion, thereby laminating the first substrate to the second substrate. Laminates formed by the methods and including the compositions are also disclosed.
SILICONE-BASED ADHESIVE PROTECTIVE FILM AND OPTICAL MEMBER COMPRISING THE SAME
A silicone-based adhesive protective film and an optical member including the same are provided. A silicone-based adhesive protective film is formed of a composition including a silicone resin, a crosslinking agent, and a curing catalyst, and the silicone-based adhesive protective film has a peel strength of about 3 gf/inch or less with respect to a glass plate at 25 C., and a modulus of about 0.5 MPa to about 7 MPa at 25 C.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
An adhesive composition may include at least about 2 wt. % and not greater than 49 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A for a total weight of the adhesive composition, at least about 51 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component B for a total weight of the adhesive composition, and at least about 0.1 wt. % and not greater than about 30 wt. % of a tackifier component for a total weight of the adhesive composition. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least about 40 C. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component B may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not greater than about 20 C. Further, the (meth)acrylic based polymeric component B may be acid-free.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
An adhesive may include an adhesive structure and an adhesive composition. The adhesive structure may include a graft copolymer. The adhesive composition may include at least about 1 wt. % and not greater than 40 wt. % of a macromonomer component for a total weight of the adhesive composition, at least about 50 wt. % and not greater than about 98 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A for a total weight of the adhesive composition, and at least about 0.1 wt. % and not greater than about 30 wt. % of a tackifier component for a total weight of the adhesive composition. The macromonomer component may have a weight-average molecular weight of at least 1000 g/mol and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least about 40 C. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not greater than about 20 C.
