CLASSIFYING COMPARATORS BASED ON COMPARATOR OFFSETS
Various embodiments relate to classifying comparators based on comparator offsets. A method may include applying, via a strobe, a first voltage to each of a first input and a second input of a comparator to generate a number of output signals from the comparator, wherein each output signal has one of a first polarity and a second polarity. The method may further include in response to each of the number of output signals being the first polarity, applying, via a strobe, an external offset voltage having the second polarity to the comparator to generate a second number of output signals. Further, the method may include in response to each of the second number of output signals being the same polarity, identifying the comparator as a reliable comparator.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
An adhesive composition may include at least about 2 wt. % and not greater than 49 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A for a total weight of the adhesive composition, at least about 51 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component B for a total weight of the adhesive composition; and at least about 0.1 wt. % and not greater than about 30 wt. % of a tackifier component for a total weight of the adhesive composition. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A may be acidic and may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least about 40 C. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component B may be basic and may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not greater than about 20 C.
Method for producing a ceramic component composed of a plurality of joined preforms and component obtained by the method
A method for producing a component includes a) providing at least two preforms each made of a carbon composite material, b) joining the at least two preforms at least at one respective connecting surface to form a composite, in which a joining compound is introduced between the joining surfaces of the preforms and then cured and the joining compound contains silicon carbide and at least one polymer adhesive, and c) siliconizing the composite to form the component. A component, such as an optical component produced thereby, is also provided.

The present invention aims to provide a resin foam, a resin foam sheet, an adhesive tape, a member for a vehicle, and a member for a building that are capable of exhibiting very high sound insulation properties. Provided is a resin foam having a multitude of cells, the resin foam containing: a thermoplastic resin; and a plasticizer, the resin foam having a minimum loss factor of a primary anti-resonance frequency in the range of 20 C. to 60 C. of 0.05 or higher and a secondary anti-resonance frequency in the range of 20 C. to 60 C. of 300 to 800 Hz as measured by mechanical impedance measurement (MIM) in conformity with JIS G0602.
Hot melt elastic attachment adhesive for low temperature applications
An adhesive composition comprising: one or more block copolymers and one or more tackifying resins, wherein said one or more block copolymers comprise (i) one or more blocks of polymerized alkenyl arene monomer (A block), (ii) one or more blocks of polymerized conjugated diene monomer (B block), and optionally at least one low molecular weight (compared to B block) block of polymerized conjugated diene (C block), where the A, B, and C blocks can vary independent of each other with regard to composition and molecular weight.
Pressure sensitive adhesive foams and articles therefrom
There is provided a pressure sensitive adhesive foam comprising a foam comprising a non-syntactic foam blend of styrenic block copolymer and acrylic copolymer wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive foam has an elongation of greater than 600%, wherein the non-syntactic foam blend is a hot melt formed foam. There is also provided multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive foams, pressure sensitive adhesive foam tapes and articles made using such pressure sensitive adhesive foam.
Siding panel and assembly
A composite siding panel mountable on an exterior wall of a building includes a backing member and a siding member attached to the backing member, wherein the first side edge of the siding member overhangs the first side edge of the backing member, and the second side edge of the siding member also overhangs the second front side edge of the backing member. An adhesive coating joins the front face of the backing member to the rear face of the siding member. The adhesive coating runs substantially from the first side edge of the backing member to the second side edge thereof. In the field, the overhang on one side can be trimmed or removed as desired to make a siding assembly with the overhangs organized as desired for aesthetic purposes. A siding assembly including a plurality of composite siding panels adjacently mountable on an exterior wall of a building is also disclosed.
REACTIVE HOT-MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION CONTAINING A POLYESTER-POLYURETHANE
A reactive hot-melt adhesive composition is provided which is the product of a reaction mixture comprising a polyester-polyurethane intermediate, optionally crystalline and/or amorphous polyesters or polyethers, and an excess of isocyanate groups. The inclusion of the polyester-polyurethane intermediate in the reactive hot-melt adhesive composition allows the properties of the adhesive composition to be customized for various applications.
Simplified stacked pallet and method of making the same
The inventors have discovered that certain hot melt adhesives can be used to form a stable stacked pallet that can limit the need for additional packaging materials e.g. inter-layer and pallet wrap.
