A biodegradable laminate, wherein a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer is laminated on at least one surface of an aliphatic polyester resin layer through an adhesive layer, which is excellent in biodegradability and gas barrier properties, and also excellent in interlayer adhesiveness, is obtained. The adhesive layer comprises, as a main component, a polyester resin (A) which has a polar group and is obtained by graft polymerization of an ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride thereof on a biodegradable polyester resin (A) comprising at least one structural unit selected from structural units represented by the following general formulae (1), (2), and (3): ##STR00001##

Provided are a polyester-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition having high wetting ability and superior adherability and light peelability, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet produced with such a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. The polyester-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes a polyester obtained by polycondensation of a difunctional or polyfunctional carboxylic acid and a diol; a fatty acid ester; and a crosslinking agent, wherein the polyester has a weight average molecular weight of 8,500 to 50,000, and the fatty acid ester has no additional functional group and has a molecular weight of 200 to 700. The polyester-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains 10 to 150 parts by weight of the fatty acid ester based on 100 parts by weight of the polyester.

A single-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes a substrate, a reflective metal layer disposed on a surface of the substrate, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the reflective metal layer, a thermoplastic polymer layer, and a light-shielding layer disposed on a surface of the thermoplastic polymer layer; wherein the light-shielding layer is dry laminated to the surface of the substrate opposite the surface on which the reflective metal layer is disposed. Articles comprising the tape, and methods of making and using the tape are disclosed.

MULTILAYER FILM, LAMINATE, AIRBAG, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LAMINATE
A multilayer film, which is used upon being adhered to a fabric, includes an adhesive layer to be a side of the multilayer film to be adhered to the fabric; and a barrier layer bonded to the adhesive layer. Each of the adhesive layer and the barrier layer includes a thermoplastic polyester elastomer. A melting point of the barrier layer is higher than a melting point of the adhesive layer. A ratio value of a content ratio of a soft segment in the thermoplastic polyester elastomer in the adhesive layer with respect to a content ratio of a soft segment in the thermoplastic polyester elastomer in the barrier layer, is 5 or less.
CURABLE ACETOACETYLATED RESIN COMPOSITIONS AND ADDITIVES COMPRISING ADHESION PROMOTERS, GREEN STRENGTH ENHANCERS, OR COMBINATIONS THEREOF
This invention relates to a curable composition comprising: I. Component (I) comprising at least one resin having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of -ketoester and malonate functional groups, II. Component (II) comprising at least one curing agent having at least one aldehyde functional group, and III. Component (III) comprising at least one compound having amine functionality, salts thereof, or combinations thereof; IV. Component (IV) which is at least one additive comprising at least one adhesion promoter, at least one green strength enhancer, or combinations thereof, or wherein said at least one additive is both an adhesion promoter and a green strength enhancer.
CONTROLLED CURE FOR COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING ACETOACETYLATED RESINS
This invention relates to a curable composition comprising: I. Component (I) comprising a resin having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of -ketoester and malonate functional groups; II. Component (II) comprising at least one curing agent having at least one aldehyde functional group, wherein said Component (II) is optionally latent; III. Component (III) comprising at least one amine, salts thereof, or combinations thereof; wherein before addition of Component (III), the reactivity of the composition is delayed by at least one of the following: (III)(a) at least one of said Components (I), (II), and (III), or any reaction product thereof, or any combination thereof is a solid; or at least one of Components (II) or (III) or any combination thereof is insoluble in the resin under pot life conditions; or (III)(b) at least one said amine is first reacted with at least one aldehyde, ketone, acetal or ketal, or mixtures thereof, optionally, to form a solid; (III)(c) at least one said amine is first reacted with a portion of Component (II), wherein the reaction product thereof is optionally reacted or combined subsequently with additional amounts of either or both of Components (II) and (III), and, prior to reaction of Components (I)-(III), and is optionally combined with at least one amine reactivity delayer; or (III)(d) at least one said amine is first reacted with all of Component (II) wherein the reaction product is a combination of Components (II) and (III) and no additional amounts of Component (II) or Component (III) are reacted with said composition; or combinations of reaction products as described in (III)(d); and optionally, IV. Component (IV) comprising at least one reactivity delayer which is combined with Component (II), or Component (III), or a combination thereof.
