The invention provides a fire-resistant glazing that is less susceptible to failure, a method of manufacturing a fire-resistant glazing, and the use of a fire-resistant glazing, the fire-resistant glazing including a glazing edge wherein at least one area of the glazing edge comprises a weakened primary sealant portion and/or a weakened secondary sealant portion.

Film material, electronic component using film material, and method for producing electronic component

A film material includes a substrate and a film layer arranged on one main surface of the substrate. The film layer contains a fibrous first resin and a thermosetting second resin in an uncured or semi-cured state, and a linear expansion coefficient CF of the first resin is smaller than a linear expansion coefficient CR of the second resin in cured state.

ACRYLIC ADHESIVE AND PROTECTIVE FILM INCLUDING THE SAME

Disclosed is an acrylic adhesive, including an acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing a mixture of about 120 parts by weight to about 250 parts by weight of acrylic monomers with about 0.1 parts by weight to about 1 parts by weight of an azo initiator, about 0.5 parts by weight to about 1 parts by weight of a filler, about 1.5 parts by weight to about 2.5 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent, and about 0.5 parts by weight to 1 parts by weight of an anti-static agent.

Reactive antioxidants, antioxidant-containing prepolymers, and compositions thereof

Reactive antioxidants, antioxidant-containing prepolymers, compositions containing reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers, methods of synthesizing reactive antioxidants and reactive antioxidant-containing prepolymers and the use of reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers in aerospace sealant applications are disclosed. Reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers can be added to a curable composition and react with a curing agent to become incorporated into the cured polymer network. Antioxidant-containing prepolymers have antioxidants incorporated into the backbone of the prepolymer. Cured sealant compositions comprising reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers exhibit enhanced thermal resistance.
