Online Ordering and On-Demand Manufacturing of Apparel
An on-demand manufacturing of apparel system includes online customization and ordering of garments, previewing of the garments, manufacturing including laser finishing of garments, and delivery to the customer. Laser finishing of apparel products reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduces product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Fabric templates can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.
Optimized sports article
A swimming cap including a main body including a first thickness; a rim portion, arranged around a rim of the swimming cap, including a second thickness; two overhang portions configured to be arranged symmetrically on either side of a spine of a wearer; and a recess configured to be arranged in proximity to the spine.
ASSEMBLY LINE FOR MANUFACTURED ARTICLES AND ASSOCIATED METHOD, PARTICULARLY FOR THE INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING OF ITEMS OF CLOTHING
An assembly line (1) comprising a conveyance line (5), a plurality of processing stations (S1-S3; N1-N13) and a plurality of multilevel sorting units (6) conveyed by the conveyance line (5). Each sorting unit is adapted to support the parts (P1-P3) of a manufactured article to be assembled progressively at the processing stations and comprises a plurality of superimposed trays which can be extracted selectively, wherein each tray is adapted to contain the parts of the manufactured article that are to be assembled at a respective processing station thereof.
The assembly line also comprises means for identifying the tray to be extracted at at least one respective processing station.
Method for forming interconnections between electronic devices embedded in textile fibers
A method for forming interconnections between electronic devices embedded in a textile includes weaving a textile panel including at least one smart fiber having an electronic device embedded in a central portion thereof and at least one electrically conducting filament proximal to an outer boundary thereof. While the panel is in the weaving machine, fiducials not visible to the eye are created in the panel that are correlated in location with the smart fiber(s). After removing the textile panel from the weaving machine, machine detection is used to locate the fiducials, thereby mapping distortions of the fiber pattern. An interconnect pattern is transformed to match the distorted fiber pattern of the conducting fibers, and is applied to the textile panel to form an electrical connection with the electronic device(s). The fiducials can include infra-red phosphors. Vias can be formed to provide electrical access to the conducting filament(s).

System and method for automated manufacturing of custom apparel
A centralized command and control network system for the automated manufacture of a personalized custom-fit garment comprises a centralized control system; automated programmable manufacturing equipment configured for assembling and stitching the personalized custom-fit garment from a digital pattern; and automated programmable material handling equipment configured for transporting the personalized custom-fit garment or its components through each step of the manufacturing equipment. After the customer has had his or her body scanned, and selected and personalized a garment design, the inventive manufacturing system will then manufacture the garment upon receipt of the order in an automated manner without requiring further substantive manual intervention or touch labor. The resultant personalized custom-fit garment is based on the customer's three-dimensional body shape and style and fit preferences. The system can be used to prepare any kind of garments.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PRESERVATIVE-FREE FACIAL MASK AND PROCESS EQUIPMENT THEREOF
The invention discloses a manufacturing method of a preservative-free facial mask and process equipment thereof. The method includes preparing distilled water with boiling point of 80-100 C., and reserving at a constant temperature; transporting the distilled water into a mixing agitator, cooling to 45-55 C.; weighing a facial mask powder into a drying mixer and mixing; turning on the mixing agitator, stirring the distilled water, adding the facial mask powder and a facial mask liquid material, stirring to form a paste liquid; importing the paste liquid into a colloid grinder, and forming a facial mask slurry; transporting into a coating machine, spreading the facial mask slurry onto surface of non-woven cloth to form facial mask slurry layer; drying the non-woven cloth, and performing instantaneous high-temperature sterilization and rolling up; slicing, moulding and packaging. The invention protects the human skin from being harmed and has a better effect without containing preservatives.
