IMPROVED CARING PROPERTIES ON POLYESTER TEXTILES BY USE OF A CUTINASE
Enzymes are disclosed that have anti-pilling properties and may be used in washing or cleaning agents. A washing or cleaning agent, in particular a liquid detergent, may include a cutinase. A method for cleaning textiles using such a washing or cleaning agent may be useful for removal of soiling, for reducing the pilling effects on textiles, for improving the anti-greying effects, for improving the cleaning performance of such a washing or cleaning agent, and combinations thereof. The cutinase may have at least 65% sequence identity with the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1 over the entire length thereof and have at least one or more amino acid substitutions at positions 61, 63, 66, 89, 90, 92, 155, 177, 208 and 211.
DETERGENT COMPOSITION
The invention concerns a surfactant composition comprising: (a) from 10 to 90 wt. % of an alcohol ethoxylate of formula R1-(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.mOH where R.sub.1 is oleyl and/or elaidic and where m is from 6 to 16; and, (b) from 10 to 90 wt. % of an alcohol ether sulfate of formula R.sub.2—(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOSO.sub.3H where R.sub.2 is saturated or monounsaturated linear C16 and C18 alkyl chain and n is from 5 to 20; wherein the total level of (a)+(b) is greater than 80 wt. %; a detergent composition comprising said surfactant composition; and a domestic method of treating a textile, the method comprising the step of: treating a textile with an aqueous solution of 0.5 to 20 g/L of said detergent composition.
Fabric Care Compositions Having Improved Microbiological Robustness and Methods for the Same
A fabric care composition, methods for preparing the fabric care composition, and methods for increasing microbiological robustness of the fabric care composition are disclosed. The fabric care composition may include a preservative system, a cationic softener, a cationic polymer, and an organosilicone. The method for preparing the fabric care composition may include contacting the preservative system, the cationic softener, the cationic polymer, and the organosilicone with one another.
Structuring premixes and liquid compositions comprising them
A structuring premix having a non-polymeric, crystalline, hydroxyl-containing structuring agent and at least two nonionic surfactants having a low HLB and a high HLB. A liquid fabric care composition that includes such a structuring premix. A process for making a structured liquid fabric care composition.
Amphiphilic polysaccharide derivatives and compositions comprising same
The disclosure relates to compositions comprising a polysaccharide derivative, wherein the polysaccharide derivative comprises a polysaccharide substituted with a) at least one hydrophobic group, and b) at least one hydrophilic group, wherein the polysaccharide is poly alpha-1,3-glucan, poly alpha-1,6-glucan, or poly alpha-1,3-1,6-glucan.
BIODEGRADABLE MICROCAPSULES
A reloadable microcapsule contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule wall encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule core contains a hydrophobic core solvent and a hydrophilic core solvent, and the microcapsule wall, formed of an encapsulating polymer, is permeable to the hydrophilic core solvent. Also disclosed are methods of preparing the reloadable microcapsule and consumer products having the microcapsules.
