WATER-BASED GRAPHENE DISPERSION MADE BY SHEAR STABILIZATION
A water-based graphene dispersion is made by shear stabilization. The method of preparing the water-based graphene dispersion using shear stabilization includes adding a composition containing a graphene powder, a super wetter surfactant and a water dispersible rheology agent into water to form an aqueous mixture; and shearing the aqueous mixture under high pressures to break down the thick layers of the graphene powder to thin layers of graphene platelet particles and to form the water-based graphene dispersion with the graphene platelet particles dispersed in the water-based graphene dispersion. The water-based graphene dispersion is stable without visible phase separation after storage at room temperature for at least one year or even more than one year.
ADHESIVE REMOVER COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein are adhesive remover compositions, methods of making such compositions, and methods of using such compositions. In one aspect, an adhesive remover composition comprises cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, and a blend or mixture of dimethicone and dimethiconol.
Alkaline hard surface cleaners comprising alkylpyrrolidones
The need for an all-purpose hard surface cleaning composition which provides improved removal of greasy soap scum and water-marks, especially on inclined surfaces, is met by formulating an alkaline composition with an alkyl pyrrolidone, and a co-surfactant selected from the group consisting of: an amine oxide surfactant; a betaine surfactant; and mixtures thereof.
Aqueous liquid hand dishwashing cleaning composition comprising dissolved and hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol
The need for a liquid hand dishwashing cleaning composition that is less hazy, while also provides reduced surface tension between the detergent composition and the soiled plate, and hence improvements in cleaning, is met when the liquid hand dishwashing cleaning composition is formulated with a surfactant system and a polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of hydrolysis of from about 40% to about 86%.
POLYESTERS
Summary
The present invention relates to specific polyesters which are particularly suitable for use in fabric treatment applications, such as in fabric care and laundry detergent products. In such applications, the polyesters exhibit improved freshness performance, and especially good anti-malodor performance.
Powdered Cleaning Composition Having Improved Dissolution
A powdered cleaning composition includes at least one acid chosen from citric acid, glycolic acid, and combinations thereof and present in an amount of from about 1 to about 30 wt % actives based on a total weight of the composition, at least one anionic surfactant present in an amount of from about 5 to about 50 wt % actives based on a total weight of the composition, and at least two fillers chosen from a salt, a sugar, and a clay and present in a total amount of from about 10 to about 80 wt % actives based on a total weight of the composition, wherein the composition comprises water in an amount of less than about 15 wt % based on a total weight of the composition, and wherein the composition has a dissolution percentage of at least about 12% after about 5 minutes in water at about 25° C.
Detergent composition comprising an inverse latex combining EDDS as sequestrant and a polyelectrolyte comprising AMPS and acrylamide
Detergent composition (F) for domestic or industrial use including, as thickener, a self-invertible inverse latex including an aqueous phase including: a) a crosslinked anionic polyelectrolyte (P) consisting of: at least one monomer unit derived from 2-methyl-2-[(1 -oxo-2-propenyl)amino]-1-propanesulfonic acid in free acid form or partially or totally salified form; —at least one monomer unit derived from at least one monomer chosen from the elements of the group consisting of acrylamide, N,N-dimethylacrylamide, ethacrylamide, N-isopropylacrylamide, N-tert-butylacrylamide; and at least one monomer unit derived from a polyethylenic crosslinking monomer (AR), b) ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid in trisodium salt form.
Method for producing a washing agent portion unit with improved optical and rheological properties
A method for producing a washing agent portion unit having at least one receiving chamber surrounded by a water-soluble film, including the steps of: a) transporting a first water-soluble film in the direction of a dosing station; b) molding the first water-soluble film into the cavities of a deep-drawing die located below the water-soluble film, forming at least one cavity in the direction of travel of the film; c) filling the cavity by way of the dosing station with a first flowable washing agent preparation containing, based on its total weight, i) 20 to 80 wt. % surfactant; ii) 2 to 15 wt. % fatty acid; iii) 0.3 to 8 wt. % of the salt of a divalent cation; iv) 8 to 35 wt. % solvent; d) transporting the filled cavity in the direction of a sealing station; e) sealing the filled cavity with a second water-soluble film, and the washing agent portion.
Methods and Compositions for Acid Treatment of a Metal Surface
The invention relates to compositions and methods that are useful in etching a metal surface. In particular, the invention relates to novel acid compositions and methods of using such compositions in etching a metal surface, preferably an aluminum surface prior to anodizing to dissolve impurities, imperfections, scale, and oxide. The compositions are effective in maintaining their etching capacity and in removing smut produced by the etching of a surface as well as in general cleaning.
