Footwear Having Sensor System
A sensor system includes an airbag engaged with the sole structure of an article of footwear, the airbag configured to compress and expand during use of the article of footwear, a force sensor engaged with the airbag and configured to detect force on the airbag based on changes in capacitance as the airbag compresses and expands, a port connected to the article of footwear and configured for communication with an electronic module, and one or more conductive leads extending from the force sensor to the port to place the force sensor in communication with the port. The system may be used with an article of footwear including an upper member at least partially defining a foot-receiving chamber and a sole structure engaged with the upper member.
FIBER-COMPOSITE-REINFORCED FOOTWEAR
A fiber-composite insert for footwear comprises a plurality of ribs arranged in a lattice structure, the ribs comprising a plurality of fibers in a resin-matrix.
Lace down insole systems
The lace down insole system provides a removable shoe insole using hook and loop type fasteners as a method for retaining shoelaces beneath the insole. The lace down insole may comprise a top side and a bottom side with a plurality of “male” hook and loop type fasteners strategically placed on the bottom side of the insole, allowing the original shoelaces to be placed underneath the heel portion of the insole. This allows an efficient way for allowing shoes to have the ability to slide on and off without the need for tying the shoelaces.

METHOD FOR CREATING A 3D SCAN AND CONTACT ELEMENT FOR SUCH A METHOD
The invention relates to a method for creating a 3D scan of a body part, the method comprising the following steps: a. Molding a contact element to the body part, b. Capturing a first partial scan of the body part, c. Removing the body part from the contact element, d. Capturing a second partial scan of the contact element, and e. Creating the 3D scan at least also from the first partial scan and the second partial scan.
Active footwear sensor calibration
A foot presence sensor system for an active article of footwear can include a sensor housing configured to be disposed at or in an insole of the article, and a controller circuit, disposed within the sensor housing, configured to trigger one or more automated functions of the footwear based on a foot presence indication. In an example, the sensor system includes a capacitive sensor, and the sensor is configured to sense changes in a foot proximity to the sensor in footwear. A baseline or reference condition for the capacitive sensor can be updated to accommodate different use conditions.

SHOE INSERT
The invention relates to a shoe insert comprising a cover layer, a damping layer, and an absorbent core for receiving a liquid fragrance, wherein the damping layer has a depression on its upper side for receiving the absorbent core, wherein the cover layer is arranged above, and covers, the damping layer and the absorbent core, wherein the layers are connected to one another, and wherein a hole-shaped recess is formed in the cover layer in the region of the absorbent core for supplying the absorbent core with liquid fragrances.
Footwear having auxetic structures with controlled properties
An article of footwear includes a sole incorporating a plurality of apertures extending from an upper surface. The article of footwear further includes a strobel that may be placed along the auxetic structure of the sole. The strobel may restrict the flexure of the sole in particular locations to varying degrees.
