SURFACE-TREATED METAL PLATE, CELL CONTAINER, AND CELL
A surface-treated metal plate including: a metal plate; and a nickel-cobalt binary alloy layer formed on the metal plate. When a part having a content ratio of oxygen atoms of 5 atomic % or more as measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis is an oxide coating film, the nickel-cobalt binary alloy layer contains the oxide coating film with a thickness of 0.5 to 30 nm on a surface thereof, and when a pressure cooker test including temperature increasing, retention for 72 hours under a water-vapor atmosphere at a temperature of 105 C. and a relative humidity of 100% RH, and temperature decreasing is performed, the amount of increase in the thickness of the oxide coating film is 28 nm or less.

A method for producing a steel strip with an aluminium alloy coating layer in a continuous coating process. Also, a steel strip coated with an aluminium alloy coating layer that can be produced in accordance with the method, the use of such a coated steel strip and the product made by using the coated steel strip.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A STEEL STRIP WITH AN ALUMINIUM ALLOY COATING LAYER
A method for producing a steel strip with an aluminium alloy coating layer in a continuous coating process. Also, a steel strip coated with an aluminium alloy coating layer that can be produced in accordance with the method, the use of such a coated steel strip and the product made by using the coated steel strip.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS MEMBER
A method for producing a porous member, whereby a member having smaller microgaps can be produced, and additionally, the outermost surface alone can be made porous and a porous layer can be formed on the surface while maintaining the characteristics of portions in which no porous layer is formed, is provided.
Method of depositing one or more layers of microspheres to form a thermal barrier coating
A method of forming a thermal barrier coating onto a surface of a ferrous alloy or nickel alloy component part involves depositing a layer of hollow microspheres to a surface of the component part or to a previously deposited layer of hollow microspheres through heating and cooling of a metallic precursor setting layer composed of copper, a copper alloy, or a nickel alloy. Once deposited in place, the layer(s) of hollow microspheres are heated to sinter the hollow microspheres to each other and to the surface of the ferrous alloy or nickel alloy component part to form an insulating layer.

Once deposited in place, the layer(s) of hollow microspheres are heated to sinter the hollow microspheres to each other and to the surface of the ferrous alloy or nickel alloy component part to form an insulating layer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING NANO-COMPOSITE METAL MEMBER AND METHOD FOR JOINING PHASE-SEPARATED METAL SOLIDS
A method for producing a nano-composite metal member, by which a nano-composite metal member can be readily produced and the production cost can be reduced, and a method for joining phase-separated metal solids using the principle same as that of the former method are provided. A nano-composite metal member is obtained by bringing a solid metal body comprising a first component into contact with a solid metal material comprising a compound, an alloy or a non-equilibrium alloy that simultaneously contains a second component and a third component having a positive heat of mixing and a negative heat of mixing, respectively, relative to the first component, and then performing heat treatment at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined length of time, so as to cause interdiffusion between the first component and the third component.
METALLIC MICROSPHERE THERMAL BARRIER COATING
A metallic thermal barrier coating for a component includes an insulating layer having a plurality of metallic microspheres applied to a substrate. A second metallic non-permeable layer is bonded to the insulating layer such that the sealing layer seals against the insulating layer. A method for applying a thermal barrier coating to a component includes placing an insulating layer having a plurality of microspheres to a surface of the substrate of the component. A heat treatment is applied to the insulating layer. A second non-permeable layer is bonded to and seals against the insulating layer.
