Textile fabric fabricated of twill weave sheeting
The present disclosure relates to a new and improved textile fabric fabricated of twill weave sheeting that has excellent wrinkle resisting characteristics, improved softness and durability over the sheeting fabrics currently being manufactured, enhanced aesthetic appeal, economy in cost of manufacture and other desirable characteristics. The textile fabric of the present disclosure can be formed of warp and weft yarns of twill weave construction wherein each of the warp yarns can be made of a natural material and each of the weft yarns can be made of a synthetic material. In an embodiment, the twill weave sheeting can have warp yarn and weft yarn, wherein the warp yarn and the weft yarn being a cross weave of cotton and polyester.
Fabric sensing device
A touch-sensitive textile device that is configured to detect the occurrence of a touch, the location of a touch, and/or the force of a touch on the touch-sensitive textile device. In some embodiments, the touch-sensitive textile device includes a first set of conductive threads oriented along a first direction, and a second set of conductive threads interwoven with the first set of conductive threads and oriented along a second direction. The device may also include a sensing circuit that is operatively coupled to the first and second set of conductive threads. The sensing circuit may be configured to apply a drive signal to the first and second set of conductive threads. The sensing circuit may also be configured to detect a touch or near touch based on a variation in an electrical measurement using the first or second set of conductive threads.
Woven pattern housing and electronic device using the same
A housing of an electronic device according to various embodiments may include a woven material including TPU yarns, and a light emission module comprising light emitting circuitry, wherein light emitted from the light emission module may be directly transmitted through the woven material to display at least one piece of information about the electronic device.
Fabric having improved winding property and commodity including the same
A fabric having an improved winding property, and more particularly to a fabric having an improved winding property, which simultaneously has an excellent winding property and excellent mechanical properties and exhibits an effect of preventing dye migration in fabric coating, and a commodity including the same.
Composite materials
A fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite structure incorporates a woven preform containing tows of carbon or other advanced fibres and wires of shape memory alloy (SMA). The SMA wires are capable of absorbing much larger amounts of strain energy than the conventional components of FRP composites and hence enhance the impact resistance of the structure. The woven form incorporates the SMA into the structure in an optimum manner in terms of handling and performance.
Fabric for electric-arc protective clothing, and electric-arc protective clothing
A fabric for arc-protective garments includes first yarns and second yarns different from the first yarns. The first yarns include first modacrylic fibers, and the first modacrylic fibers contain an infrared absorber in an amount of 2.5 wt % or more with respect to a total weight of the first modacrylic fibers. The weight of the infrared absorber per unit area in the fabric for arc-protective garments is 0.05 oz/yd.sup.2 or more. An arc-protective garment includes the fabric for arc-protective garments.

Multiple chamber innerduct structure
A flexible innerduct structure having a first edge, a second edge, a first margin region, a second margin region, and a middle region. The middle region is located between the first and second margin regions. The innerduct structure comprises at least two flexible longitudinal tubes, each longitudinal tube forming two chambers. Each chamber is designed for enveloping at least one cable, where at least one of the longitudinal tubes extends from the first margin region to the second margin region, and wherein the tubes are attached together at an attachment in the middle region.
CLOTH AND FIBER ARTICLE
The invention addresses the problem of providing a cloth and a textile product, which are extremely excellent in stretchability and sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties and further have a natural material-like texture and appearance. As a means for resolution, for example, a cloth is obtained using a composite yarn containing a crimped yarn and a stretch fiber.
Woven fabric with comparable tensile strength in warp and weft directions
A woven geosynthetic fabric having a weft direction and a warp direction, includes weft yarns woven in the weft direction and warp yarns woven in the warp direction interweaving the weft yarns to form a fabric having comparable modulus; the warp yarns including a high modulus monofilament yarn having a tenacity of at least 0.75 g/denier at 1% strain, at least 1.5 g/denier at 2% strain, and at least 3.75 g/denier at 5% strain as determined in accordance with ASTM International Standard 4595.
