STACKING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
20220235515 · 2022-07-28 ·

Disclosed herein are systems and devices which transport and stack flexible textile workpieces (e.g., clothing) in a processing line. A proposed stacking device includes a conveyor belt wound through a series of rollers which permit horizontal extension of the conveyor path toward a downstream workstation. The extendable conveyor path allows for easy transferring and stacking of the workpieces at the downstream workstation.

ROBOTIC LAUNDRY DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE

Devices, systems, and methods for repositioning a deformable laundry article are described. For example, a robotic device includes a conveyor configured to transfer the deformable laundry article outside of a work volume, two or more lifters including grippers individually anchored about the perimeter of the work volume, two or more sensors disposed at fixed locations about the work volume, and a memory storing data indicative of repositioned deformable laundry articles. A controller is in operative communication with the memory, the two or more sensors, and the two or more lifters. The controller is configured to receive a signal from the sensors, identify grip points on the deformable laundry article suspended above the conveyor, instruct a lifter to grip and lift an identified grip point to the suspension height, determine whether the deformable laundry article is repositioned, and instruct the lifters to lower the repositioned deformable laundry article onto the conveyor.

Method for storing washing machine identification code in tag memory

The present disclosure discloses a method for storing a washing machine identification code in a tag memory, the washing machine identification code being for indicating fabric information, the tag memory including an EPC memory for storing an electronic product code for identifying a tag object and a USER memory for storing user-defined data. The method includes: detecting a storage space remained of the EPC memory of the tag memory; storing the washing machine identification code into the EPC memory if the storage space is enough to store the washing machine identification code; otherwise, storing the washing machine identification code into the USER memory. Meanwhile, different writing priorities are used for different types of fabric attribute information in the storage process, thus ensuring that the electronic tag memory can completely and effectively store the key information of fabric attributes and meeting the requirement of smart washing of the washing machine.

AUTONOMOUS DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PACKING UNFOLDED LAUNDRY ARTICLES

Devices, systems, and methods for autonomously packing unfolded laundry articles into a box are described. The system includes a box configured to receive the laundry articles, a movable surface for receiving the box, and at least one actuator for imparting at least one of a shaking, twisting, vibrating, oscillating, shushling, and tilting motion to the box. A plunger is configured to compress the articles within the box and at least one sensor is configured to detect that the mass of articles is flattened and substantially level across a top surface. A controller in communication with drive motors, actuators, and at least one sensor is configured to determine whether the articles are flattened sufficiently for delivery to a packing station for receipt of folded laundry articles placed atop the plurality of unfolded laundry articles.

CLOTHING CLASSIFICATION APPARATUS AND CLOTHING ORGANIZING APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME

A clothing classification apparatus includes: a first roller; a second roller arranged to face the first roller; a driving device rotating the first and second rollers in different directions; sensors for sensing positions of clothes in each of the upper and lower areas of the first and second rollers; and a processor configured to control the driving device so that the clothes repeatedly move between the first and second rollers a predetermined number of times when the clothes are placed on the first and second rollers, and control the driving device to change the rotational directions of the first and second rollers when it is confirmed that the clothes pass through the upper or lower area on the basis of results of the sensing by the sensors.

Garment Tags For Intelligent Laundering Alerts

Aspects of the present disclosure involve an apparatus, systems, and methods for providing intelligent laundering alerts. Example embodiments involve an intelligent garment tag that may be affixed to garments, and may store and provide information about the garment to which it is affixed. The information stored thereon describes various aspects of the garment including color, fabric, and laundering information. The intelligent garment tags further include an alert component for providing laundering alerts (e.g., a flashing or colored light, a warning noise, or a vibration) based on, for example, garment color compatibility or laundering device (e.g., washing machine or clothes dryer) compatibility.
