A metering device for metering and supplying media via a fluid line to at least one target apparatus, in particular to an industrial textile washing machine, wherein the metering device is connected to at least one container which is filled with a medium. The metering device has a control unit which, in order to carry out a metering process with the aid of at least one pump, causes a specific volume of medium to be removed from the container and a conveyance of this volume towards the target apparatus. The fluid line has at least one heating element and at least one temperature sensor connected to a measuring device, wherein, by way of the measuring device, with the aid of a measurement value output by the temperature sensor, information about a performed conveyance of the medium through the fluid line can be determined and transmitted to the control unit.

A feed device, planar washing machine and method. The feed device (15) comprises roll arrangement (21) provided with support rolls (16, 17) and an alignment roll (18). An endless belt (13) is arranged around the rolls. The alignment roll can be moved (C) in order to guide the feed belt to move into desired direction when it is moved laterally.

Such methods may include detecting a first interaction with one of the first domestic appliance and the second domestic appliance and increasing an activity counter by a first amount based on the first interaction. The methods also include detecting a second interaction with one of the first domestic appliance and the second domestic appliance and increasing the activity counter by a second amount based on the second interaction. The methods further include providing a user notification when the activity counter crosses a predetermined threshold.

The washing machine includes a display configured to display a washing course and a first washing option set corresponding to the washing course, an inputter configured to receive a user's option change command for changing at least one washing option among a plurality of washing options included in the first washing option set from a user, a storage configured to store a washing option set including the changed at least one washing option, and at least one processor configured, based on the storage of the washing option set being more than a predetermined number of times, to control the first washing option set to be changed to a second washing option set based on the changed at least one washing option.
Method for detecting and correcting out of balance conditions in a washing machine appliance
A method of operating a washing appliance includes obtaining images of a wash chamber using a camera assembly operating at a frame rate equivalent to the basket speed. The one or more images are analyzed, e.g., using a machine learning image recognition process, to determine a cloth coverage ratio of the load of clothes in the wash basket. The cloth coverage ratio is compared to a predetermined coverage threshold for reducing out of balance conditions. Specifically, if the cloth coverage area is greater than the threshold, the wash basket may be ramped up to a hold or plaster speed. By contrast, if the cloth coverage area is less than the threshold, the basket speed may be maintained or lowered to permit the clothes to redistribute before ramping to the hold or plaster speed.
CLOTHING ITEM SEPARATING DEVICE AND CLOTHING ITEM PROCESSING DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
A clothes separating device and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device according to this disclosure are provided with a separator that operates to grip clothes in a washing tub and to separate, from the gripped clothes, another item of clothes entwined with the gripped clothes. In this manner, a user does not need to separate a plurality of individual items of clothes before folding the clothes. Hence, it is possible to provide the clothes separating device that contributes to reducing a burden of work related to laundry and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device.

System and method for dispensing product to a washing machine. A chemical dispensing system includes a system controller, machine interface, and pump controller that communicate through serial data buses. The system controller provides a user interface, retrieves washing machine status information from the machine interface, and issues product dispensing commands to the pump controller. The pump controller monitors pump status and dispenses product in response to commands from the system controller. The pump controller: (1) determines pump activation periods based on calibration data stored in a pump controller memory; (2) tracks pump usage and adjusts the activation period to compensate for pump wear as the pump ages; (3) disables the pump if conditions exists that preclude operating the pump; (4) monitors product levels, and (5) reports pump status to the system controller. Integral channels are included in the pump housing to provide stress relief to a squeeze tube.
