MANUFACTURED NATURAL SHEARLING MATERIAL
A manufactured shearling material comprises a leather layer and a knitted wool layer laminated together. The leather layer may be made by grinding up waste/scrap leather and adhering it to a backing, and giving texture (or texturizing) a surface to give the surface a particular feel (e.g., a suede feel). The scrap leather may be from various animals, including cows, sheep, etc. The knitted wool layer may comprise recycled wool clippings organized together to simulate the fur surface of natural shearling, and the wool clippings may be combined with one or more additional materials (e.g., fur, cotton, polyester, Tencel, silk, etc.) at various blends (e.g., 80/20 blend of wool and Tencel) to control the feel, aesthetics, and/or functionality, etc. of the knitted wool layer. Furs, hair, or other materials other may be utilized instead of the recycled wool clippings. An additional layer may be provided on top of the leather, with such additional layer being a synthetic recycled fabric.
Natural nonwoven materials
There is described a nonwoven material comprising a multilayered stack, the multilayered stack comprising discrete interconnected layers, each of the layers, which may be the same or different, comprising a composite fibre of from about 80 to 100% w/w leaf or stem fibre and from about 1 to 20% w/w of a polymer, wherein the polymer is fusible at a temperature of about 180° C. or less. There is also described a novel method of enzyme degumming leaf and/or stem fibres.
Canvas flocking diamond picture
The disclosure discloses a canvas flocking diamond picture, and relates to the technical field of canvas flocking diamond picture devices and making methods, solving the problem that the gray cloth of diamond canvas is shrunk after encountering water so that the diamond picture becomes uneven. The picture frame is internally provided with a protective film and a canvas, and the protective film is located at one side of the canvas; the upper end surface of the canvas is provided with a flash layer; an ink-receiving layer is arranged under the flash layer; an upper back cover layer is arranged under the ink-receiving layer; a cingico layer is arranged under the upper back cover layer; a lower back cover layer is arranged under the cingico layer; a flocking layer is arranged under the lower back cover layer, and the flocking layer is located on the lower end surface of the canvas; an adhesive layer is arranged between the lower back cover layer and the flocking layer.
Method of making an innerduct for a conduit
A method of fabricating a multi-compartment innerduct includes the steps of positioning a plurality of longitudinally extending, laterally spaced, strips of adhesive on a longitudinally extending sheet of fabric material, connecting adjacent of the strips together to form compartments, and attaching the compartments together.
LAMINATED LIGHT-BLOCKING DECORATIVE ARTICLES
Laminated light-blocking decorative articles are prepared by applying an aqueous foamed opacifying composition to a non-woven fabric, drying, laminating a decorative fabric to the resulting dry foamed opacifying layer, and densifying that layer to have a thickness that is at least 20% less than before densifying. This operation can be carried out so that non-woven fabric, decorative fabric, and aqueous foamed opacifying composition are supplied in a single-pass, in-line operation to make any desired quantity of a laminated light-blocking decorative article. The applied aqueous foamed opacifying composition has 35%-70% solids and a foam density of 0.1-0.5 g/cm.sup.3. It is composed of (a) porous particles, (b) a binder material, (c) two or more additives comprising at least one foaming surfactant and at least one foam stabilizer, (d) an aqueous medium, and (e) at least 0.0001 weight % of an opacifying colorant that absorbs electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of 380-800 nm.
SHEET MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a sheet-like article which has a good balance between soft texture and excellent light resistance; and a method for producing this sheet-like article. In order to achieve this purpose, a sheet-like article according to the present invention has the following configuration. Specifically, a sheet-like article which contains a polymer elastic body in a fibrous base material, wherein: the fibrous base material is composed of ultrafine fibers that have an average single fiber diameter of from 0.1 μm to 10 μm; the polymer elastic body has a hydrophilic group, while containing a polyether diol as a constituent; the polymer elastic body internally has an N-acylurea bond and/or an isourea bond; and the condition 1 and the condition 2 described below are satisfied. Condition 1: The bending resistance in the lengthwise direction as determined in accordance with specific standards is from 40 mm to 140 mm. Condition 2: The abrasion weight loss after 20,000 cycles of a Martindale abrasion test set forth in JIS L 1096 (2005) after a light resistance test as performed under the conditions defined in accordance with specific standards is 25 mg or less.
Shielding device for shading and rain protection purposes
A shielding device for shielding against weather influences that includes a textile sheet material which is stretched two-dimensionally or can be rolled out and which forms a shield against weather influences, in particular, against solar radiation and/or rain. The textile material has warp threads and weft threads connected together in a lattice-like manner so as to form a fabric. A foam layer which has foam pores that are separated from one another by solid foam walls is applied onto the textile sheet material on at least one side of the textile sheet material.
Compositions and methods for the protection of substrates from heat flux and fire
A flame or heat flux protective coating composition, which includes a dispersion of fiberglass, hollow glass spheres, or a combination of both in silicone. A flame or heat flux protective sheet, which includes hollow glass spheres dispersed in silicone in a sheet form or fiberglass and silicone in a sheet form, wherein the fiberglass is dispersed in the silicone or the fiberglass is a woven cloth coated with the silicone is also presented. Articles incorporating the flame or heat flux protective coating or sheet form and methods for coating an article with the flame or heat flux protective coating composition are also presented.
